HOTEL PAIKAJI

Very cheap hotel. It was clean, other than the carpet was quite stained. I like the towels are avails of to take any time in the lobby. It’s across the street from a supermarket. It’s about a 20 minute walk into city centre, the buses don’t go often but it’s pretty easy to get a taxi using the Didi app. I would stay here again if I was on a budget. The carpet is really stained. The front desk staff didn’t speak English, but he was really patient with my mediocre Japanese.

I slept well. Across the street is an excellent supermarket with many ready to go items which were tastier than a lot of the restaurants around for example, tofu still warm, okra in sesame oil with seaweed, all kinds of sushi, cooked sweet potatoes. They never changed the sheets or emptied the waste baskets in the week that I was there. One has to rent kitchen utensils

It was big and comfortable. They have bikes for renting which makes your life easier It smells like humidity or something weird

I stayed here for nine days in the capsule room. Room was clean and towels were provided daily. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Showers and toilets were always available and were clean. Common area has a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Common area was clean and has plenty of seating. Staff even gave me a lift to the airport on my departure, great service! I rented a moped from a nearby shop and found the hotel location a good jumping off point for heading north and west (to beaches etc). Im not sure how the location is for those who bus or walk as main transport, it does seem to be on the far end of town (not an issue for me). Several places to eat within walking distance. 24 hour super market across the road. 24 hour laundromat next door came in handy. Heads up no front desk staff between approx 7:30pm to 7:30am, this was not an issue for me, just something to be aware of. My only request for improvement would be the addition of lockers in the capsule room for valuables, and perhaps a drying rack for clothing (swimsuits, towels etc). I was happy with my stay and would come again.

The room was spacious, the hotel was quiet, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Great hospitality! The hotel was recently renovated so the bathroom was super clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable and I slept well. You can rent a bicycle (they only have 2) for just 500yen a day - it's a small and old one but did the job for me. There is a coin laundromat next door which was convenient to dry my swimsuit and wet clothes after snorkeling, and a supermarket across the street. The area is quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed staying here. They also have a car rental business, so check it out. I didn't know and I rented from somewhere else. The carpet had some stains and the towels are a bit thin but there's not much to complain about. Everything was fine.

The bath and toilet were so clean. It ws located in MaxValue 24Hrs supermarket, so very convenient location. The staff were kind.
