The stuff was absolutely amazing, so helpful and open. Not really far from the city center but not right in the middle of most visited touristic places. We liked the facilities, super cozy and clean place. It was freezing in the room we couldn’t make it any warmer.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. The room was completely different from the photos - I had to argue and escalate the issue just to get the room I originally booked. It was very cold, the room was not heated at all. The reception staff tried to mislead me several times

The Empress hotel is a small and quaint hotel located in a very nice street in Fatih. The location is quiet and just a few meters away are many restaurants and shops! The location is perfect, nestled next to many main mosques and the sea. I enjoyed my stay here a lot due to the location and the friendliness and support from the staff. Transportation is not included however, I recommend getting this from the hotel as the price is fair. They were so accommodating and kind to my husband and I. If you are looking for quiet, this is the place to book! Everything was perfect!

Location was very close to Hagia Sofia, 0.8 km from Hippodrome and Blue Mosque, close to shopping. The view from the roof was impressive. Office staff tried to be helpful and we enjoyed their recommendations for tours. Bathroom renovated, very nice. The stairs!! Fifth floor and no elevator. My arthritic knees did not enjoy the twice a day climb up and down. The room was very small. The bathroom was also super tiny. Not as portrayed in photos, also they changed the currency to £ from € when I booked, so watch out. Needs a stool as a bedside table on one side, nowhere to set my glasses or phone. We stayed at the First Empress, not the Second.

Our room was on 5th floor and there was no lift. No telephone in the room No bottle water provided in the room so you'll have to go to lobby to drink from dispenser.

the location is super good , just in the old town nearby all the famous spots. the receptor is very nice to give us an introduction of the city. the room is so small for four people and it is not clean at all. The toilet is humid all the time and the ventilation fan funtioned poorly and it is very load.
