The Marist Hotel Kadikoy

Everything, from the staff , the owner and the facility, exceed may expectations, would stay there again

on a 4-day stay in Istanbul, Kadikoy was a fantastic location to see friends. The Marist Hotel is just near the Havatas Bus Stop that shuttles to and from the airport. The hotel was easy to find, just 3 blocks up Recaizade Street, and to the right. It was a dream location with fun shops and nightlife nearby, but a quiet street to come back to. With the nearby Marmaray Metro, and Ferryboats to Eminonu/Karakoy, it was easy for friends to visit us, or for us to get out. Ultimately, the wonderful breakfast on the terrace and good price point helped us choose to stay here. The room was very clean, and the staff (like Bulent) very friendly! It won't be our last time here. The Elevator is quite small - good for 2 people, and 2 luggage only. One bed-side reading light didn't work in our room. We let them know when we checked out, and they said they'd replace it. We stayed in a triple room for a little extra space to visit with friends. I'm not sure about the size of doubles - never looked.

Nice breakfast, easy walk to ferries and Moda. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the shower is small.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff was friendly and professional. These are the main reasons for rating this property this high considering the size of the room. This is our second time staying in the hotel but we were a little bit disappointed. The room was really small, the bed could barely fit two grown persons. There was no ventilation in the toilet.

The room was a bit small, but it's not that big of a deal breaker for me.

Great stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were delicious with a good variety to start the day right. We really liked our room—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location near Kadıköy was perfect, with plenty of cafes, shops, and transport options nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was a little bit simple

Our stay was exceptional, conveniently located approximately 15 minutes' walk from the Moda district. The staff provided outstanding service, and the availability of parking, among other amenities, ensured a perfect experience on the Asian side of the city. The proximity to public transportation was also a significant advantage. I will undoubtedly select this accommodation again upon my return to Istanbul.

We had a wonderful stay at The Marist Istanbul! Emine and Bulet are truly amazing people – very attentive to every detail, caring, and always responsive to guests’ needs. The cleanliness is outstanding, the breakfast is excellent, and the reception and service are top-notch. Everything felt like a true 5-star experience. Highly recommended!

Location is very close to Moda where all the action takes place, yet away from crowds and noise. Location is also close to public transport by ferry, bus, and rail. Staff were quite welcoming and supporting. Rooms and facilities were spotless. Room size is too small to comfortably move around and open the suitcases. One room did not have enough power outlets and only one bedside table.

The location was great, 10 min walk from the Havaist shuttle bus service from the airport and 10 min walk to either the ferry or the metro. There is an elevator to the higher floors which was handy. It was easy to get to the European side and really nice to come back in the evening as the Asian side is quieter. The nearby market was great and fun to explore. The breakfast was simple but delicious and all the staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend & come back. The room was small, we had only one suitcase but it was tricky to find a space to open it. The wifi was generally good but could sometimes be a bit patchy which might be an issue if you need to do any work. It would be nice if there was more than just one plug as most people have several devices that need charging.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff, we stayed with friends. Amazing terrace, we could stay there all day long, evenings, breakfast. Absolutely delightful, big thank you to Bulent who helped us with everything. Locations absolutely wonderful, close to the ferry port, bus station, great neighborhood. We are definitely coming back, 20 out of 10 :)

The room is well furnished as well as the bathroom. The bed is so comfortable The breakfast is excellent although same ingredients The staff are very helpful except the night reception man The roof terrace served with water, tea and coffee till 2300 No good isolation in the bathroom

I've stayed at this hotel several times. The first time was by chance—I needed somewhere to stay near Kadıköy. To my surprise, I loved it: friendly reception staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, and decent soundproofing when the windows are closed. Sleeping here is cozy and restful. Breakfast is included in the rate, and it's excellent too. The only thing they could improve — offering brewed coffee instead of just instant at breakfast.

Comfortable location near metro station and Havabus to Sabiha airport. Friendly staff on the reception desk and breakfast floor. Comfy beds, clean and big enough room, good variety of products during the breakfast
