It’s new and comfortable hotel with large rooms. Despite having a large pool, it is clearly not cleaned daily. I noticed the exact same piece of plastic waste sitting by the poolside for three consecutive days. The SPA staff were rude and unhelpful. Basic amenities like towels, shampoo, and soap were completely missing. To make matters worse, they insisted the Turkish Hamam was only free for 15 minutes—a strict rule that was mentioned nowhere during our booking process on Booking.com. The staff member at the pub (identifiable by a star tattoo on his neck) was openly hostile and unprofessional. He visible lost his temper, was visibly frustrated by basic guest feedback, and mocked our comments under his breath as he walked away. At 11:45 AM on our checkout day, we received a abrupt call asking if we were leaving or extending. Calling before standard checkout time felt pushy, unwelcoming, and ruined the last impression of our stay.

The following morning, I asked to extend my stay. I was offered the same room for €150, although I had paid €86 (approximately $99) the previous night. When I checked Booking.com, I found a rate of around $120 and asked why the hotel price was significantly higher. The receptionist explained that the $120 rate was for a standard room, while the room I was staying in had been upgraded and was therefore priced at €150. I understood his explanation but was surprised by the large difference in price and wanted further clarification. Unfortunately, the discussion became uncomfortable. During the conversation, the receptionist raised his voice and told me that he was speaking loudly because I was speaking loudly. I found this response unprofessional. In my view, customer service requires remaining calm, respectful, and solution-oriented, especially when a guest is dissatisfied or seeking clarification. While my initial experience was very positive and I appreciated the room upgrade, this interaction negatively affected my overall impression of the hotel.

I wasn’t given the suite i paid for. Instead i was given small room Staff behavior was weird the last day as 3 different employees asked me to check out. I had paid 60$ for late checkout the day before and wasn’t given a receipt.

The hotel is clean, close to 212 Mall and Mall of Istanbul, 10 minutes distance by car. We stayed here just for shopping. They have free parking underground, B3 level. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. I don't understand why this hotel has only 8 on booking, it deserve more. The rooms are very big, also the bathroom, the beds are very very very comfy, everything is clean. If you want to go shopping, this hotel is in the perfect location.

I have been staying at TRYP by Wyndham Istanbul Basın Ekspres for the past 10 years, and honestly, it feels like my second home. From the very first day until now, the hotel team has always treated me not as a guest, but as family. The warmth, respect, and genuine care from everyone here are truly exceptional. Every stay is comfortable, smooth, and filled with positive energy. I sincerely appreciate the entire hotel staff for their professionalism and kindness, and I would like to send a special thank you to Mr. Duan, my brother, for his constant support and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. A wonderful place, amazing people, and a feeling of home that you don’t find everywhere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I did like everything

Beautiful suite, underground parking, fast housekeeping service, decent food outlets , good spa and gym and swimming pool Restaurant staff were hostile during breakfast, the dining room was dirty and smelly, one day they ran out of eggs. Swimming pool heater was not working so we couldn't use it. Lighting is poor in the gym and Swimming pool so it looks poor. Location is not a walking distance to any shops or restaurants.
