Is not good for family

The property was in a great location that was safe and just outside a small park. It has interesting interior architecture and a beautiful bathroom tile/lighting. Breakfast was modest Turkish style in the adjacent restaurant, but coffee was not included sadly. On our last night, we checked out early due to a trip and they provided simple sandwiches instead of breakfast. The bedsheets weren’t big enough to cover the bed, and the mattress was always exposed.

Property was ok but the family room is not suitable for adult kids. The breakfast was average with no choice of having juice or coffee. Same breakfast every single day.

Our stay at Begonville Mansion Old City Hotel in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and located in the heart of Sultanahmet – perfect for exploring the historic city. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. A heartfelt thank you to Ilayda and Aziz at the reception, who welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. They were always ready to help with a smile, answering all our questions and making sure everything was perfect during our stay. We also want to sincerely thank Mahya at the restaurant, who took amazing care of us every morning during breakfast. She was so attentive, friendly, and thoughtful – always ensuring we had everything we needed to start the day right. Her service felt personal and genuine, and she made us feel like valued guests every single day. Thanks to the wonderful team and the cozy atmosphere, this hotel felt more like a home than just a place to stay. We highly recommend Begonville Mansion to anyone visiting Istanbul – and we’ll definitely be coming back Nothing. Everything was amazing

The staff were very helpful especially Mr. Emir helped us with a lot of information and made traveling in Türkiye easier. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was also really great.

Good location, staff friendly . Breakfast was tasty
-
Clean room, good location, we enjoyed our stay. Guy at the reception, Emir, was very kind. Big recommendation.

Breakfast was very good. The staff is friendly. Location is close to main attractions. Street cats are friendly. Not so clean streets near by, some of them pretty filthy, but this is almost everywhere I walk in the city. Noisy. Be aware, from this location to main attractions you go up the hill so be ready.

exelent value for the money, we had an early flight and couldn’t make it to go to breakfast so they prepared a sandwiches for us to take when we went to the airport. many thanks for wonderful staff.
-
The location is great because it’s just 15 minutes away from Blue Mosque. Istanbul is very crowded and that’s definitely a great advantage. The hotel has a nice restaurant downstairs where you can have lunch or dinner with 10% discount. The same restaurant offers great breakfast. A big shout out to the reception which helped us organise the taxis from and to the airport and answered to all the questions we had. The rooms are a bit outdated and clean enough. There’s a smell coming from outside into the room through the bathroom. It’s manageable but without those it would be a 10/10 experience.

We had an enjoyable stay in what felt more like separate apartments than a traditional hotel. The room was amazing—neat, clean, and very comfortable. While room service was not available, the setup was still convenient for a short stay. A big plus was the café Begonville right next door, which offered a great spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Aziz, who went out of his way to assist us with all our questions and made us feel welcome. Overall, a good stay—comfortable accommodations with kind and responsive service. Nothing as such but room service option would have been cherry on the top ;). Breakfast options could also be expanded as quite less for vegetarians.:/

Good location, really cute little street, very welcoming staff It’s a bit loud and you hear a lot of noise from everywhere

I would like to start by the amazing and kind staff. Helped us with every single request we had. Special recognition to Aziz, Emir, the rest of the reception office and thevrestaurant staff. Location was ideal in the old city, yet quiet and calm at night. Breakfast was an authentic turkush breakfast, which is one of my favourites. Area around, full of restaurants, stores, exchange outlets and everything you might need. Thank you for the memorable stay. All was great.
