Albinas Hotel Old City

Old fashioned rooms, but very comfortable. Lovely reception and breakfast staff. A varied and very fresh breakfast. Location is brilliant, on a quiet street less than 10 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Just needs a slight update.

Absolutely loved everything! Perfect location, amazing breakfast, good rooms, everything is clean and nice, good shower, good bed, and absolutely amazing people working! Thank you so much for nice time in Istanbul! My ever best stay in Istanbul) Hope to be back!

Great place to stay in the old city. The neighborhood itself is really charming with lots of restaurants around. I enjoyed eating breakfast with a view of the blue mosque every morning. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy Istanbul.

Very Small king bed , no ventilation in bathroom, not working air condition, location is relatively far from tram station, limited breakfast, small rooms but like others in sultanahmet area

We had a decent little room on the 2nd floor that overlooked the front street. It could be a bit noisy at times, but overall, we were fine with it. The staff at the Albinas were very kind, especially the couple that worked in the breakfast room in the morning! The breakfast buffet had eggs, a few breads and pastries, dried fruits, and a few other items; coffee and tea were available all day. Our room was decorated nicely, impeccably clean and the bathroom and shower were great. We first stayed at the Albinas in 2013, shortly after the hotel initially opened. We loved it so much that we decided to return. Sadly, the things that really stood out to us as exceptional are no more. The gorgeous rooftop terrace with jaw-dropping views has been replaced with a tiny unappealing patio (there is discussion regarding bringing the terrace back after renovation; we hope this is truly the case). We recall the breakfast buffet at the Albinas as being ample and varied and fit for a king! It is quite limited now, and it must be noted that the photos of breakfast on the Albinas website are not reflective of the actual offerings which are much more meager. Additionally, the bed in our room sagged on one side and the duvet was barely large enough to cover both me and my husband at the same time. We hope that the renovations that will be taking place at the Albinas do restore the hotel to the extraordinary way it was in the past.

Enjoyed the terrace breakfast. Bed was comfortable & bathroom was clean. Very little noise insulation, you can hear everything.

All the guys at the front desk were very nice and always helped bring the stroller up and down the stairs. The 2 bedroom family suite we stayed in was exactly what we needed. The view from the terrace was amazing. The location was near perfect... Within 10-15 minutes from every major attraction and within 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque. Nothing about this place specifically but Istanbul is not very stroller friendly in general.

Family own business very friendly and caring I would highly recommend this place if anyone looking for nice simple quite place to sleep. Not like your typical hotel with many things to do but very simple and clean ? None all was good

Office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I couldn't complete my review without mentioning Makbolay the cheff, wonderful and smiling face on any request from customers. Recommend and guided us to take big bus tour and bosphorus boat trip. Both were great did some shopping in Taksim and bought leather caps and jacket close to the boat stop on Asian side. Getting off the boat and making left passing the police post, there are shops on lower level you will enjoy the hospitality. We were so busy that forgot to take pictures. Sorry ?

I had the best time at Albinas Hotel and truly can’t wait to go back to Istanbul, knowing without a doubt that I’ll be booking the same place again! Everything was absolutely perfect — from the comfortable and spotless room to the top cleaning service, delicious breakfast, and the incredible hospitality throughout the hotel. Lots of space in the rooms and a great location. Staff was helpful and offered lots of help, for example when it was raining here the lobbyist didn't hesitate to give us their umbrella. Didn't like how they were smoking every time we walked out though. Still great place!!
