Ramparts

Very clean hotel and quiet hotel. Very nice Turkish breakfast. The location is very close to many historical landmarks. It is next to the Grand Bazaar, and Sultanahmet Square is within walking distance. Many other famous historical sites are also just a short walk away. The metro station is nearby, and the ferry terminal is not far either. The tram station is also just a few minutes away.

The place is super clean and you could walk to many tourist attractions (hagia Sophia, Basilica, blue mosque, archeology museum, and topkapi palace). It's also very close to the main road. We absolutely loved the breakfast they provided! The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. My family and I had a wonderful stay at the ramparts hotel. We would gladly choose this place if we visit instanbul again. Nothing

Location was too off and felt very unsafe while walking to and from the hotel late at night. Staff were very friendly. Room was Clean however toilet flush did not work properly. Personally i did not like the breakfast but i understand some might like so very subjective. See above

A very good and clean hotel with hospitality, the owner is especially helpful and kind. The room and bathroom is large enough to fell comfortable. The kettle with nescafee/tea was a bonus in there. The location is very good (however, not the nicest part of Istanbul), you can reach the historical sites on foot, but there are several public transportation possibilities nearby. The breakfast was very good with wide selection. There are several groceries nearby. A not street-front room might would have been better, the kids were noisy after midnight on the street.

Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Had free bottles of water and coffee. Had well working air conditioning, so the hot weather did not bother us.

It's the second time we have stayed in Ramparts, and It's the only place I want to stay when we come next time. The hospitality is unbelievable. Adam, the manager is an asset, fantastic host, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's great to sit down and listen to him, and he has a great sense of humour. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast lavish.

I like cleanliness and good attitude of all the stuff. The owner was very helpful. Good experience all in all.

Starting from our responsive and always helpful host Adem, the nice spacious rooms, the rich Turkish breakfast. It’s approximately 10 mins away from Grand bazar and restaurants. It’s really worth the money.

Exceptional

It was an awesome stay, staff and Adam were so helpful. The Public transport was nearby . Rooms were very clean and warm during an Autumn stay.

საუკეთესო სასტუმრო, ტურისტულ ადგილას, კვება მშვენიერი, სისუფთავე. ინტერნეტი. ყველას გირჩევთ აქ აიღოოთ არ ინანებთ. 15 წუთში ფეხით მივდიოდით აიაზ სოფიამდე. თუ რაიმე არ მომეწონებოდა ნამდვილად დავწერდი.

Friendly and professional staff. A renovated bathroom. Comfortable bed. No lift, although the hotel staff offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs

Nice clean rooms, pleasant staff and very good value for money As a visitor from England in the absolutely ideal world, there may be a couple more breakfast options, but at the amount they charge I would recommend to friends, a lovely hotel

The location is typical for this part of Istanbul: you are close to attractions but it's an old part full of not so pretty and not so clean small streets. Breakfast excellent, with a selection of 'international', typical breakfast foods and lovely local foods, including salads, so a lot to choose from for everybody. It was probably the coldest time in a several years, with tempertures around or just above zero Celsius, so as much as they tried to keep the hotel waarm for the visitors, it was still cold in the bathroom, but it was a minor thing for people like us who are used to cold weather and understand that even in February in Istanbul it's not normal to have it that cold. I also understand that the hotel already had to face higher heating costs, not initially calculated into the price.
