Sirkeci Esen Hotel

I was upgraded to a room with a nice view and balcony.

Amazing family stay we had in Grand Esen Hotel, great location and breakfast! Also very friendly staff

The location was convenient, and the staff were polite and helpful when I requested a room change. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs much better maintenance and cleanliness. The hotel is located right next to a mosque, so the loudspeaker can be very loud and may wake you up early in the morning. The room was not very clean, and the bed sheets and blankets did not feel fresh. The air conditioner was not working properly, and I found bed bugs in my room, so I had to request a different room. Unfortunately, after my stay I developed a skin rash, which I believe may have been related to the bedding. Cleanliness and room maintenance need significant improvement.

Almost everything - breakfast was very good for this price, location is good. Bed was extremely comfortable. My roon was a little bit cramped. But I wasn't travelling alone and the room of my friend was bigger.

The location is superb, right next to Sirkeci station, which was perfect since we had a train to catch at Halkali with big bags. The manager, Uveys, was very helpful and fulfilled all our needs.

Room was very small and noisy in night

The mattress and pillow were terrible. Bed clothes must be replaced. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom and on the breakfast. At least a renovation is required for my room.

One star is way too much for this hotel, if that is what we want to call it. The room was dirty, every peace of furniture on the room was dirty/smelly/ broken or about to break. Thanksfully for some reason we got upgraded so instead of the standard room we got a room on the last floor with an amazing view. But this is the only good thing. No comment about the breakfast which is served in another hotel, no variety, and the few things served are not good. Breakfast is served until 10.30 but if something is finished no metter if it is 8/9 am they will not replace it. The people working there were friendly but unhelpful in so many different levels. We needed an iron and they asked to come in the evening to collect it, when we got back to ask for it the same receptionist said they have never had one and he had to go get one from another hotel, which i thought it was hilarious. On top of it my boyfriend wanted to organise a surprise for my birthday, he planned everything with the guy at the reception and once it was the moment he just ‘forgot’. It says it is a 3 stars hotel, donMt believe it! It is a scam! They should have a star just to be jenerous. Place not to go
