We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast terrace with a beautiful sea view was truly a treat every morning. And the location was fantastic for touring historic sites and easy to hop on the train to get up to the Galata Bridge area.

staff was very nice, location is amazing, and room is big enough. rooftop view during breaksfast is very nice. breakfast is okay, not the best, and not the worst. rooms and windows are not very soundproof, you can hear everything that goes on, when people are walking in the hallway, talking, showering in the room next door, etc...

We wanted a location that was a little quieter than our previous hotel that was in the heart of Sultanahmet. Set at the bottom of a hill on a quiet road, but a short walk to tram and activities. It was lovely to have breakfast on the terrace - can see the sea as well as mosque. Breakfast was adequate and coffee machine had excellent mocha coffee. Room was a decent size with good pillows and bed. We bought a bag of kitty nibbles and fed the cats next door. Local eatery called Ziya Baba Turk had the best lentil soup and chicken sish kebab we have had in Istanbul and at very decent prices. Also, if looking for carpets and kilims close to hotel, go to Atilim Halicilik where Mehmet Turgut will negotiate good prices with you. Would definitely stay here again. No lift for heavy luggage but staff will assist you, no problem. It was a bit strange in the mornings as there was a radio on in the kitchen at breakfast that was playing a person shouting something or other. It might have been nicer to listen to some soft Turkish music instead?

Great views when having breakfast on the terrace with sea view on one side and mosque view on the other side. Tekin, the hotel's owner was so nice, he agreed to let us check-in early in the morning without any extra cost, after our long flight. We appreciated for that. Superb location with restaurants nearby, just some minutes to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. From the airport to the hotel with luggage, the better solution is call a taxi (about one thousand and three hundred TRY) because the steep roads/inclines all around. Suggest you a cafe' Seven Hills with incredible views of Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque from its rooftop. There is not elevator, but it didn't matter to us.

The hosts were amazing! The room was very clean, and they truly took great care of me throughout my stay. One of the hosts even lent me his Istanbulkart, which was incredibly helpful. They also arranged my transportation to the airport at a reasonable price. I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is really well situated. There is a lovely view from the breakfast room. The staff were super helpful. The wi-fi seemed to "freeze" from time to time.

Nice location, next to blue mosque. There are several restaurants near by and stores. Staff was very nice, always eager to help out in any ways. There is an also a beautiful local mosque next to it. Also 2 mins walk there is a park with kids play area. Also walking distance to main buses. There will be a 10mins walk to the tram.
