It was clean and I enjoyed coffee and cookies offered by the hostel in the morning. Air-conditioning (the cooling system) didn't work (It was the problem with every room at the hostel actually). Room was hot when the window was closed, and the room was swarmed by the mosquitoes when the window was opened. So, me and my roommates had very uncomfortable and broken sleeping time at night.

Non stop noise. The building’s acoustic is terrible that you can hear all sorts of noises outside and within the hostel. If you are a light sleeper, this hostel may not be the best fit. Also, the staff are not friendly or hospitable.

The location is quiet central, the staff are professional and very much helpful. It is safe, private and cozy. It is super clean which is of importance for me in my choice of a hotel. It was my 2nd stay at this hotel and I will stay here again in my next visit to Istanbul.

It’s a really good place. Whenever I go to Istanbul, I usually stay at another hotel, Center House Istanbul Galata, but since it’s currently closed, I decided to try the Taksim one—and I didn’t regret it at all, I was also happy to find the same person at the reception as in the other hotel. He always treats us very kindly. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask for his name, but I will definitely do next time when I return.

I stayed here just for a night. What i liked about it is that it's very near the airport shuttle bus station and the famous istiklal street in Taksim area. The staff were cool and friendly. The bed light maybe, it's a little dim for me.

They clean rooms every day The breakfast was extremely poor and unacceptable. All guests were forced to stand in the reception area and eat a sandwich made with cold cuts that seemed to be left over from the previous day, along with a rotten mandarin. The woman in charge of breakfast handled the sandwiches with dirty hands and without wearing gloves, and guests were not allowed to touch anything themselves. The reception area was very small and dirty, and it was full of white cat hair from a cat constantly wandering around the area. There were no plates or saucers provided; the sandwich and fruit were placed directly into guests’ hands. In terms of hygiene and service quality, this place is extremely poor and strongly not recommended.
