Grand Peninsula Hotel

There is a terrace with a beautiful sea view, however there is no shade or umbrella on the tables so going in July as we did you can only sit in the late afternoon, in the daytime there's no shade The shops and restaurants around are very expensive/tourist prices, the breakfast was lovely but for lunch and dinner we chose to go to other areas with more reasonably priced food. Also, I think SIM cards here are much more expensive than other parts of Istanbul

Very economical budget wise and close to major attraction. Just 5 min walk. Hotel is good and staff is friendly. The only drawback is hotel doesn’t have lift. Hotel doesn’t have lift, so not suitable for special need guests.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was not bad. The room was small and the view from the ground floor iis non-existent. Still this is good value for money and we didn't spend much time in our room anyway.

Clean and friendly A bit far from metro station

The location is excellent: very close to the bus station that goes to the airport, within walking distance of Aya sofya, the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet, and also near public transportation, restaurants, and bazars. We had a truly pleasant stay. Everything was well organized, clean, and in order. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, good staff, comfortable, view from the roof. It was all ‘good enough’; it is now being renovated. I hope this doesn’t remove its charm.

Excellent location, just a short walk from major attractions. The breakfast was varied and authentically Turkish, and the rooms were spacious. The staff were absolutely wonderful – welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful with everything we needed. Some small details in the room could use improvement, such as the beds and the bathroom. However, considering the overall experience, the value for money is outstanding, even with these minor issues.

I LOVED this hotel! First off, every single person working the front desk was beyond helpful and so nice. I can’t thank them enough for all the recommendations they gave. I also really really loved the rooftop. Being able to see the sea was so peaceful, and I loved waking up to that. Also, the breakfast was phenomenal every day. I was very impressed with the spread! The room and the bathroom were good, and had what I needed. Very close to some of the big “things to see” and a few minutes walk to a few different modes of transportation. All in all, I’d definitely stay here again due to the staff, breakfast, and rooftop! Nothing that I can think of!

Great location, decent room at a good price. The breakfast was traditional Turkish. Small room and small double bed. WiFi and TV did not work on the second day, but the desk person got them working after a couple hours.

Room is spacious with good amenities. Breakfast is decent and you and eat and enjoy the ocean view. The staff are very helpful.
