The Dormy is a step above many other hotels. The twin room was fine and comfortable, not especially large. The onsen was very good and we appreciated the (free) ice cream bars. The breakfast buffet selection was excellent.

The staff really went the extra mile to tidy up the rooms even though we were aware there would only be an eco-friendly cleaning. They replaced our towels and left things in a very thoughtful way. Having complimentary, really rather decent, coffee waiting for us downstairs each morning was a great perk, and the clean, ambient, and absolutely delightful onsen (with complimentary melon soda ice et al!) was just the cherry on top of a very lovely stay. Not to mention the location being basically inside the station, setting you up in the most convenient way for daytrips and next destinations.

It was close to Izumo station. The onsen spa area was wonderful. Extra amenities such as popsicles, yogurt and ramen and free washing machine made our trip easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and also included pajamas and various toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to store luggage before or after checkout! Nothing

Hot bath in hotel top floor. Parking next to hotel. Parking not included in hotel reservation. And sofa was a little bit hard.

Fantastic stay next to Izumo station, spacious and clean room, comfortabla bed and very quiet for good night sleep. Friendly crew with free drinks and late night freshly made noodle dish. The onsen/wellness space on the top floor and the massage chair are heaven, really nice place to spend time in Shimane-ken and relaxing holiday.
