OYO Townhouse Inn Jacksonville near Little Rock Air Force Base

When going to check in the lady at the front desk was not very friendly at all. Throughout the day, my room was cleaned and I was happy about that when I went to go check out the gentleman was great about me. Checking out. The TV did not work. It was too fuzzy. The beds were very hard as a rock.

Let me start w/ the staff. Very very nice. I was allowed to check-in early as my plan was to work at the Starbucks next door until check-in time BUT the Starbucks was permanently closed. The desk staff was so accommodating and I cannot express how appreciative I am of that. The housekeeping staff was so sweet and they were also accommodating as I didn't want a full clean on my room, just a refresh of towels and trash emptied and they were perfectly fine with that request. With that said, the property is in ROUGH shape. My room's a/c was leaking on the floor so they had towels and a bucket under it to catch the leaks. There was mold on my room ceiling (I took pics) and the walls were in different states of repair/paint. The lobby had an industrial floor fan running for the duration of my stay; assuming it was to keep the humidity down and the hallway/lobby cooler... Again, I understand that I paid $50/night and that I shouldn't expect luxury, but the property really needs some love. The location was good as it was close to the AFB where my son is stationed and I would love to potentially book there again, but probably won't because of the state of the property.

I was allergic to something in the room or outside the room. (Did you use some kind of strange insect spray?)

Nothing. The beds were hard. The sheets were dirty. Staff was lazy. No toilet paper in room. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

It was a nice quiet place

They have bright lights shining into the rooms at night. The facility is run down. They charge extra fees beyond what is listed on hotels.com

Ive been drug down threw there with Expedia and I'm letting them... Problem after problem after problem and the staff doesn't know how to fix anything. The phone help hotline is terrible and slow and the online chat help center is even worse!!! But I keep TRYING to book with them....
