Nice atmosphere. Extended twice!

I had a WONDERFUL stay at Sleepy Raccoon. Muk, the owner, creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere with his positive attitude, sense of humor, and genuine enthusiasm for helping guests make the most of their time in Jogja. He was always happy to share recommendations and local insights, which I really appreciated. The hostel itself has friendly staff and a relaxed environment that makes it easy to meet other travelers. I stayed in a private room, which was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed each day after exploring. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in Jogja and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable place to stay! -

my favorite hostel in Jogja. Great vibe, friendly people, and really easy to meet other travelers. The place is clean and comfortable, and the staff are always happy to help. You can book tours directly through the hostel and rent a bike, which makes getting around super easy. Had a great time here and would definitely stay again. Nothing

No convenient store nearby. Breakfast is too simple for the price.

Owner and staff were amazing and very helpful in all ways. Quiet location. Also nice kitchen facilities and you have free water. I stayed in the private room and the spring mattress there was a bit too soft therefore you can feel all the springs

I booked here for just one night and ended up extending my stay for many days ,because the place was honestly amazing. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The hostel is very clean, and you can really notice that they take hygiene seriously. The toilets and showers are cleaned many times during the day. Beds are super comfortable, the rooms are quiet, and the whole atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Safety was also very good, which made me feel comfortable during my stay. The owner is an amazing person, very friendly and welcoming. Reception staff are also extremely helpful and can help with almost everything, including booking bus or train tickets. They even lend you a train card for free so you don’t need to pay the 14k fee. Free coffee, tea, and drinking water are available all day. The kitchen is big, fully equipped, and one of the best hostel kitchens I’ve seen. Laundry service is available too. Tours here are cheaper than in many other places. The Lava Tour was honestly one of the best experiences I did in Yogyakarta. They also offer cheap tours to Prambanan Temple and Borobudur Temple. The hostel has many extra things that make the stay even better: Big TV and PlayStation ,Prayer room ,AC works perfectly ,Great for cat lovers. Beautiful garden with a calm sitting area Near markets and useful shops The hostel is very cheap for the amount of services and comfort you get. There are honestly many more good things that I probably forgot to mention. Highly recommended. If you come for one night, don’t be surprised if you end up staying much longer like I did ? 100/10 Thank you so much ❤️

a little far by walking to anything

Awesome hostel and price, roomy bunks, good ac and shower facilities, nice common areas and kitchen as well as an unbeatable price. They also have adorable kittens / cats. It's maybe a bit far from the main part of the city but they offer scooter rentals which is extremely convenient.

Very recommended, clean, comfortable

The best in the city

Good price for quality - They turn off the light after midnight in the lobby no matter if you need it. I was doing something on my laptop, so I asked them to keep the lights on for some time. They didn't want it. - The room feels cramped

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The owner is super nice and friendly, and the staff were welcoming too. The AC worked perfectly and kept the room cool all night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d happily recommend it to other travelers. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, and the shower water pressure could be stronger.

Clean, well maintained, good coffee, the owner was very helpful on giving us tips and advice. Wish it was closer to the supermarkets. But GOJEK OR GRAB fixed it easily.
-
Great staff, safe location, bike hire Walls very thin in private rooms, can hear conversations loudly.

Everything is great! Clean, comfortable, quite, friendly and good price!!!

Gap in door allowed mosquitos in the room and there was no net. However the receptionist kindly sprayed our room with bug spray which seemed to fix the problem whilst we were there.
