Great location, close to a mall with many bus lines. Clean place many restaurants, as well as the restraint & bar downstairs. Really appreciated the baghooks on the wall, and the verity of teas available. Even though my room overlooked the road it was quiet. I believe there are 6 shared bathrooms, some of the nicest showers. No elevator, a bit far from Central Newcastle

Good location and very helpful staff. Common area clean. Not able to rest at all. Loud music shaking the bed and didn’t stop till midnight.

Stayed on a Thursday and got no sleep due to it being a club on Thursday nights. Loud music all night

All the shared bathrooms were not clean and all soap they had was empty some toilets no toilet paper

stayed here recently and overall, it was okay, but the noise at night was a real issue. People were hanging out in the hallway. slamming doors and talking loudly and it echoed through the entire corridor. Would be great if security could do a quick walk to remind guest to take the party back to their rooms and keep the hallway clear. Would make a difference for anyone trying to sleep.

Nothing, the room was filthy to the point that we ended up staying in our car. I was booked to stay at your accomodation yesterday with the boyfriend and it was paid for prior to arrival. We checked in at approximately 5:30pm and were allocated to room 6. I am absolutely appalled at the state of this establishment. After booking online and seeing what appeared to be decent photos, my partner and I were horrified when we entered our room. The reality was nothing short of disgusting: stains everywhere, a strong stench of mold, writing on the walls, stained bedding and a dirty, neglected ceiling. It was beyond unacceptable. Prior to leaving the room, my partner and I attended Big W to purchase a sheet to place over the bed due to the state. This was our attempt to make the accomodation more appealing and appropriate, however even after this action, we could not sleep in that room. We had already spent $100 at the pub downstairs, expecting at least a basic, clean room to rest in for the night. Instead, we were so disgusted by the state of the room that we couldn’t bear to stay. We were forced to spend the night in our car instead. Charging $80 for such a filthy and uninhabitable space is an absolute disgrace. This experience completely ruined our night, and I cannot believe the level of neglect at this establishment. I would like a full refund for this devastating experience and will strongly urge others to avoid this accomodation.

The towels that was provided were smelly, it was dirty and still damp. I believe it was just reused and not even washed. The towels were just rolled and reused. Very disgusting. I will never go back again and recommend.

The staff downstairs and the pub downstairs were lovely. But that’s about it! My room was so filthy, I’m pretty sure I caught ringworm from lying on that bed. After lying on it I noticed black thick short hairs and various types of other hairs stuck to the blanket. There was a large wet patch on the carpet on the floor in my room. Cockroaches on the walls and crawling around. Absolutely disgusting. Paint flaking off the ceiling. My friend stayed in the room next door and had a similar experience. We ended up having to check out early as we couldn’t stay all night there. Worst place I’ve ever stayed at honestly.
