Wuzhen Dream Hotel

A typical local mainland Chinese hotel. Difficult yo find.

We had 1 Superior Suite and 1 Duplex Suite. The Superior Suite is very beautiful with a nice living room, 1 master bedroom, which is beautiful and a smaller bedroom. Each has its own bathroom. The Duplex is pretty cool with a mezzanine with enough space for 3. The host was very nice, who help to carry our luggages upstairs since they didn't have an elevator. The hostel has a pool table, a swing and other things to entertain the guests. The Superior Suite was remodeled from an old house so some of the details are kind of old with a new finish. The second bedroom is a little tight. The bathroom floor for that is cement and un-tiled so it gave me the feeling of not being clean even though it is clean.

This is very good hotel with friendly staff and convenient location.

The location is just in between of the two ancient towns and a perfect point of departure to visit Wuzhen. For me is the "Hotel" more a kind of guest house in terms of style and equipment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are no right towels in the bathroom (Just kind of one time use paper towels). You can hear the other guest quite well in your room.

Really like the authentic family business vibes They gave us a free upgrade too! The air conditioner got a bit loud during the night, would recommend sleeping with it off or bring some earplugs!

Exceptional

Hotel upgraded our room. Overall a great stay, a lot of shops right outside the hotel is open during day time. Quite dark to walk back to hotel from the scenic area at night. No lift :(

Ver close to the tourist attraction. Walking distance. Nothing

Location was great, right in the heart of the old city. The front office staff were helpful and friendly, they even helped us book a ride from Wuzhen to Hangzhou at a reasonable price. Not quite the river view from our room we were expecting, but all in all a good experience.

Location is super good. 5 mins driving to the scenic spots. And the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Two cats were super cute and melted my heart. Nothing.

The place was really beautiful and just what we expected. It was at walkable distance from the scenic area. The host was very helpful and english speaking.

The layout of the accommodation is interesting in a converted old house. The interior is modern and clean. The environment is cozy and friendly. During the day the road outside is a very busy road, but at night it is quiet. Access to the hotel, cars cannot reach the front door directly as it is located tin old part of town. Inconvenient if you have large pieces and lot of luggages, or with elderly persons. The interior of the house has a lot of thresholds and level differences legacy of the old architectural style of the building.

Interesting experience of staying in a very different hotel environment in view of its unique character of the layout of the hotel rooms adapted in an old long house with main areas and toons connected by internal courtyards. The accessibility, as the road to the hotel is not directly accessible by car. Ok if your are young but not so for elderly, due to the nature of its accessibility and the few thresholds one has to cross over getting into one’s room from main entrance.
