Actually, I would give this property a miss. You can use the facilities and pools/bars of all properties within The Villa Group. The location is great and relaxing and it is actually a house/villa. We stayed in The suite Terraro and it was dark but comfortable. When we arrived they didn’t have our confirmed reservation from booking.com so that was a saga to begin with and we had to wait until 3:45 for the room to be made available. The breakfast was so disappointing and was set up as a buffet for all properties, Alegria, Jericoacoara, Jomael, Praia and the quality and taste was bland. Actually the worst breakfast we have had in Brasil with Anya over the local bread and the staff not mandating guests to use masks or wash there hands before utilising the utensils etc. Would not recommend this place unless you were a group of 8 taking over the entire villa.

The Master Suite was really lovely, it’s a huge room with a nice balcony area to watch the sunset and the bed was very comfortable with a duvet which was a nice home comfort to have. The feeling of privacy and luxury were all there. The pool and bar area are nice and the common areas are all beautiful. The staff are perfectly lovely and helpful. The place was clean and visually appealing. The home made bread at breakfast was delicious! I thought the breakfast could have more options and i’m not sure the buffet style with waiter service fully works as it means you cannot help yourself and rely on the waitresses to keep coming back to your table enough times which can makes things a bit slow and uncoordinated so we had eggs arriving hot when the toast was not ready which was a shame. Perhaps they should just decide between either a buffet style or a menu style? The shower was amazing but only a slight problem is that it was difficult to get the right temperature consistently as the tap seems quite sensitive. For the space you get, inevitably the hotel is located a bit further from the action so just be aware that transport is probably needed as you may not want to walk at night! This really is just nitpicking though, it’s a fabulous place to stay and I recommend it! :)
