What a brilliant experience staying in The Blue House. I had the 'Movie' room, so named because it's featured in 4 Bollywood films and it was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The views from this room are stunning, and stepping out onto the balcony, and hearing the distant call to prayers is a truly magical sensation,... almost like something out of the Arabian Knights. All of the staff and owners were unfailingly courteous and helpful, even providing me with a cold beer in my room at the end of each day spent exploring the wonders of Jodhpur. The Blue House is in an excellent central location for exploring pretty well anywhere in Jodhpur. I was always able to get a Tuk Tuk at the end of the little street,... usually paying between 100 to 250 Rupees (£1.90 - £2.40) to go anywhere in Jodhpur. Highly recommended.

Magnificent 500 year old building, nice view from the room and the rooftop. Run by a faimily and helpful staff. It was cold, you could feel the wind coming in the window (of course it is an old building :-))

The Staff was kind, I aarived at dawn after A night's travelling,and they let me sleep on the sofa as the room was not yet available. The room was cold, I could feel the wind comning through the window. There is no heating option

Located in the middle of old blue city. Very friendly Jain family who owned the place. We really enjoyed our stay. Room well decorated and hot water 24 hrs. Aesthetics I tried their over expensive breakfast, while ordering their guy told 90 rs for poha so we ordered but during checkout they told it's 180 rs and their guy was new and unaware so made a mistake and made us pay full 180. It was their mistake and they could have offered to settle in 90 rs only but they are too greedy for that. Just for this shady practice I won't recommend this place to Indians as they think they can scam everyone like they do with foreigners

The property has a vintage look and feel to it. It is 15 mins walk away from the Clock Tower.. No taxi or car can enter there. So one needs to walk up till there.

These guys are lovely and welcoming. The room clean and bed comfortable. It is also in a quote Street but still close to the action. The view from the top floor is stunning. The restaurant wasn’t open so a little inconvenient. There is a lot of steps!

The room was clean and nice. The guesthouse/hotel doesn't have a name tag outside, we arrived late night and the place was closed and nobody responded for at least half n hour even after informing them hours before in advance. They should be more careful with checking in their guests and atleast put up a name tag for the guesthouse so that guest's are not lost looking for the place.

Good sized room, clean with a good shower. Delightful family who run it, very friendly and receptive to your needs. Found it difficult to find.

A wonderful, warm welcome in this family run guest house. We were given lots of information about the area. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, and the location was great, we could walk to the fort, blue city, clocktower, and other main attractions and restaurants. The view of the fort from our room was breathtaking. The property was having some work done, but this didn't affect our stay, and it will be fantastic once completed. We liked everything however it would have been helpful to have somewhere to hang/store clothes and a towel rail or hook, this is a very minor thing though

Location was good in the market and close to centre points. They also let us in at 5AM since our bus reached early 1. Most things in the room were broken. The hangers in the bathroom were broken. The pipe under the wash basin kept falling multiple times. Basin was too tiny. On the last day, we ran out of water in the bathroom. We had to leave for our train at 5 AM. AC and Fan were very very old and too noisy. We couldn’t sleep properly 2. Construction work was going on the the building and there was constant noise throughout the day 3. There was no drinking water in the room. I had to go down two floors to collect water multiple times. 4. No one offered to clean the room we stayed for 3 nights
