The location is awesome. All the main attractions are within walking distance. There's a beautiful 360° view from the rooftop restaurant. My room was homey and spacious. I had a great stay there. The WiFi doesn't always work.

Really nice homestay in a very good location. Beautiful rooftop, very accommodating host family. Room was clean and great value. Hot water didn’t last more than a few minutes.

Cute, clean, and comfortable guesthouse, right at the foot of the magic fort. Quiet because the traffic does not reach these small alleys. A great rooftop with a wonderful view over the city and a great bar/restaurant makes Sunshine guesthouse really attractive. The rooms are beautifully painted and decorated in the local style, with a comfortable bed, small but adequate bathroom, A/C, and a fan. The staff and owners are really sweet and very kind. They allowed us to keep our room past the check-out time at no extra charge, for which we are very grateful. The bar also serves alcohol. But the most important attraction of the guesthouse is the incredible view of the fort, particularly at night when illuminated. Sunshine Guesthouse is also located a few minutes' walk from the old city center, the Clock Tower, and the traditional market. It is also a few minutes' walk away from the entrance to the Fort. We loved our stay with this wonderful family and their staff. If we get back to Jodhpur, that is definitely where we'll stay again. They also do a laundry for you. Not recommended for those with walking difficulties as the way there is steep, no tuk tuk will take you to their alley unless you use their own driver. If not, drivers will drop you at a 5-minute walk from the location. Be warned: the stairs are big, narrow, and steep. The rooms have no windows that allow daylight, not a problem for us considering how pretty our room was.

Simple and welcoming! I had a great time at this guest house. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the city, with a view of the fort, yet still peaceful and quiet. The terrace offers a beautiful view, especially in the morning and evening! The hospitality was wonderful. Ranveer and his wife are very kind—they welcomed me with a chai and helped me with the bus, also giving me lots of useful information about Jodhpur. I also got to enjoy some delicious homemade Indian food! For me, having been traveling around India for a while, finding places that are this welcoming, simple, and charming is never something I take for granted!

The lovely family who run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the views of the fort and the city are truly spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant Some of the rooms might be a little darker than others. There is a room on the roof which is a little more basic than some of the others but it has lots of windows and a stunning view The location is fantastic, but difficult to reach by vehicle as it's up a steep hill and the lanes are very narrow. You may have to walk the last bit

Amazing rooftop views and Ranveer was good to chat with and knowledgeable about things to do or see. Overall a good place to stay, although the climb won't be to everybody's liking. The single room was sweltering hot, in fairness I was warned it might be and offered another room but at 200 more a night. Maybe a stronger fan would help.

Very close to the old town castle, located on a high point in Jodhpur, the rooftop terrace offers an excellent view. The host is very kind and manages the accounts clearly. It’s a stay that gives peace of mind. Transportation in the old town is poor, and it’s not easy to find a ride to get up there. The room facilities are quite basic.

The hospitality of the family, they were always making sure I was having a good stay. Raveen recommended me lots of places to go and also told me about the history of the city. The location is just perfect (short walking distance to the fort , white temple and to the clock tower/markets) Nothing. Everything was amazing. Best guesthouse I stayed so far in India

Nothing wrong with this guest house per se, it's great, but visitors might be aware that this along with a few other places in town are quite close to 5G towers on rooftops about 600 feet away which point right at the rooms from here. If this concerns you then definitely stay further down the hill.

Great view of the fort. Spacious room. Good AC. As some other reviews pointed out, the dogs in the alleys around the guest house are aggressive indeed. At about 7.45 pm (so not very late at night), a dog bit me in the leg, without being provoked by me. This happened in the alley in which the guest house is located, just north of the road that leads to the fort. The guest house may not be able to do much about this, but it's still a problem. All but two hotels and guest houses during my last six weeks in India provided filtered water to their guests. This one didn't and only sells water bottles, which is bad for the environment and is expensive. The balcony is shared with the neighboring room, which should be mentioned before booking. I also encountered a single small cockroach in my room.

Proximity to the Majestic Mehrangarh fort looming right above the property is an awesome sight you cannot forget. The host is a wonderful person. Very helpful with advice. When my family members were unwell he suggested to get them treated at the local govt hospital and they recovered quickly. I was able to continue our Rajasthan tour without too many days lost. Nothing whatsoever. They will even do the laundry for you if you need fresh clothes.

The owner ranveer and his family are amazing, devoted and very sympathic. The cookers are amazing. Take the bedroom with the balcony . Best view ever at 7.30 am !!

The hosts were very kind and the rooftop restaurant also good

Amazing location, rooftop restaurant is an oasis of peace! It's a short walk to the fort, and also very close to the stepwell and the main bazaars. The owner was born in this place, it's a lovely family guest house. The hosts are very kind people that helped us in any possible way. We'll be back!

I had an amazing stay and felt right at home at the Sunshine Guest House. The staff are sooo friendly and very helpful with arranging my travel plans, telling me tips for booking transport and also sharing stories about Jodhpur. The location is perfect, close to the attractions including the fort and step well and the iconic blue city. The views from the rooftop restaurant are incredible! The restaurant food is delicious and it is so unique that they serve Korean cuisine - the first time I had seen it in my travels in India (in case you need a break from curry). Thank you so much for your warm welcome and hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

My room was very comfortable with a fantastic view of the town. Watching the sunrise everyday was absolutely amazing. Having a balcony and window it made everything feel so very spacious. The property is up the hill and it does require a little hike each time you leave. But really the exercise did me good and the view from my room made it well worth it.

Best homestay at affordable prices nearby mehrangarh fort. Amnesties were so good. Owner of the homestay is so supportive and like a family.
