We loved our stay at Melville Turret Guesthouse!! We stayed in the huge loft on the second floor and the bed was so comfy I didn’t ever want to leave. The room was huge and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. it was walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants and the neighborhood is very cute and quiet. But the best part of the stay was Koos! We asked him for advice on roadtripping around South Africa and he was full of good info and helped make the rest of our trip unforgettable! Nothing!

It works for me as I work nearby and there are many Ubers in the area. The site seemed well secured and there was a guard as well. Room was very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It has the right number of rooms to be personal but also not too small It was all good.

Excellent location, friendly staff, and great breakfast included. We have stayed here many times, as it is close to the hospital. Walkable area, close to restaurants and shopping. There was nothing not to like. The property is aging well, but will need some TLC in the near future.
