Residence Inn by Marriott Jonesboro

We showed up and the pool was out of order. We got to our room and there was massive amounts of dog hair on the carpet, in the sheets, on the base boards. The tub had black mold and mildew all over the bottom. I called the front desk & they came to change the sheets as I am a single mom w three kids and we checked in at bedtime. They came to change the sheets just to discover the dog hair was all over & embedded in the mattress protector too. I explained my girls & I are highly allergic to dogs & cats. She suggested I try another room so we went to another room just to see stains on those sheets, the shelf in the shower was literally ripped off the wall & hanging by a tiny piece & there were spots all over the main ceiling were someone taped ballon’s & ripped them down. It looked terrible. So we tried a third room. That room has clean beds but a significant crack (I could slide a quarter through it) all across the shower bottom. Due to it being 10:30 & she didn’t have any more double bed rooms we took it. When we got in my middle child complained her skin was very itchy. I looked & she was breaking out in hives from the dog hair. My oldest daughter had to use her inhaler bc she was having problems breathing. I had everyone change & take showers (in the cracked shower) & we tried to sleep. It took awhile bc of the large amt of flies & spiders I had to kill before my children would settle down. Leaving we noticed a sign on the door- we were in a pet friendly room. Not okay.

The room was updated and the breakfast was great. Only drawback was the Internet that I paid for, had bad reception reception so I was out of five dollars but everything else about the hotel was great.

The hotel was clean, well maintained and calm. The pool was nice, staff were helpful, check in and out was seamless and breakfast was good!

Be cautious with the maintenance personal. We were approached by a sketchy fella who i had seen behind the front desk. He wore street clothes with no branding or identification. He asked what room we were in on the elevator up. Traveling especially with our young girls, I explained we dont give out that information. Then he said he was "maintenance" so he was curious. Be weary...

This was almost like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Parking was easy and the staff most helpful. Will defiantly try to stay at other Marriotts as i travel.

Everything worked out great and will come whenever I am in Jonesboro

Very nice stay for my daughter, room was spacious clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool

Staff was nice but our room had some minor issues. The toilet was leaking at the base, toilet paper holder was almost coming off the walll and the door strip was ripped on the front door. We didn’t have any washcloths in the bathroom. There were also multiple loose power outlets and a couple of brown stains on the dark carpet. Beds are super firm and it wasn’t the most restful night I’ve ever had. I’m not sure my family and I would stay here again, not from anything major, but just a lot of little issues that added up.

room was dirty and hot. The doors were never closed to the side exit making me feel unsafe. The floors were sticky. Most of the bulbs didn’t even work in the room. One of the comforters was stain the staff didn’t even offer an option to switch rooms. Staff that was cleaning the rooms had her phone watching some episode, super loud and inappropriate content.
