Home2 Suites by Hilton Kalamazoo Downtown

Room was not clean, handicapped bar was broken in bathroom, hair dryer was broken, sheets for pull out were used, floor was sticky, 1/3 of dishes were dirty. Staff was decent, breakfast was good, kids enjoyed the pool.

The hotel and room were very clean and the staff mostly helpful. The breakfast was a little lacking in organization, but overall good. Unique to this property is a salt water pool, while I wasn’t there long enough to try it out, I will make a point if I’m ever there again. Looked very inviting.

Breakfast was a waste and we needed to go out. Both waffle irons were not working. The only hot items were in a combined warmer box and were not easy to get to what you wanted. No yogurt available. Only items available were oatmeal, cold cereal and bagels/danishes. It was not disclosed at the time reservation was made that there was a charge for parking. Had to go through Hilton which both hotels share the space, to get to Home2 Suites. Elevators were slow and had to make a lot of changes of elevators to get to Home2.

Breakfast 0Location was ok, food 2nd rate. 3rd rate Toilet tissue, cheap bedding,have to pay extea for parking that was one hell of a walk away. Is in a sketchy neighborhood. Construction noises start about 7 am.

So comfortable and spacious. Everything is so well thought out. All the staff was so helpful and friendly, from the restaurant aft to the front desk. Amenities are accessible and look inviting. One of the best places to stay!

Nice spot for Kzoo. Glad there are more nice options downtown. The room was nice and spacious. Clean room bathroom. But the dishes were all used gross like they rinsed them and put them back but I always wash dishes wherever I go. But there was a dishwasher coulda just started the load. I’d stay again.

The Home2Suotes was excellent for the class of hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. No issues. We would stay here again if visiting Kalamazoo.
