No internet in the rooms Called the reception, offered to change room but on the second day.

Hotel Orfeas is centrally located and offers a stunning view of the impressive Meteora rock formations. One of the hotel's main highlights is the spacious outdoor swimming pool, which guests can access for free, along with complimentary use of the sun loungers. The triple room we received for a family with an 8-year-old child was spacious, with a mountain view and a balcony facing the main road, which is fairly busy. Breakfast is very good. It's a traditional Greek breakfast—not overly varied, but tasty. What more could you need besides a few delicious pastries alongside some Greek yogurt? We stayed here at the beginning of June 2025, and the pool closed at 6 PM. During the season, it would be great if it stayed open longer. Although the towels and bed linen were clean and disinfected, they might need to be replaced, as they show signs of wear and tear.

I wasn’t very pleased with the towels at the hotel — they looked quite worn out and that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Pool was amazing No hot water in the bedroom... They said they had a problem. For like 3 days! I'm glad it was hot in Greece.

The location was great. The hotel looks nice, , room was clean, nice balcony with pool view. Pillows hard as rocks. After reading other guests comments about the pillows and matresses I found them exagerated but no, they are not. Those pillows are hell. Breakfast was average. Same food everyday. This wouldn't be a big thing if the food was fresh. Unfortunately it wasn't.The bread was dry every single day, like it's been left în the sun for a while. The last day of my stay there was no more buffet breakfast. Maybe because we were only two guests în the hotel. We've been served the same food while sitting at the table, old omelette from the previous day obviously, warmed up a little. The surprise though was the fresh bread, like real fresh bread. Why can't that fresh bread be offered every day I wonder. The pool. The pool supposed to be great after the renovation, but surprise, it wasn't. Last year they forgot to mention the pool was under construction, this year they forgot to mention that it is actually a PUBLIC pool. Yeap, people from outside, mostly kids are coming to swim în the pool. Local kids from Kalambaka are having birthday parties by the pool. I witnessed 2 during 5 days stay. So the pool was always full and noizy, with at least 15, 20 locals, kids and adults, even though the hotel was almost empty, kids screaming and splashing all the time, having no respect for the few guests who were trying to swim or just relax. I suppose they pay good money so why would they care?! So basically allowing those outsiders to come and use the pool during opening hours is showing 0 respect towards the guests who maybe have chosen this hotel especially for the pool, like myself. The pool opens at 12, it could very well be used by locals until 12 I think. So whoever wants to book this hotel looking forward to cooling off în the lovely renovated pool, after visiting the monasteries at 35 degrees think twice!

We didn’t stay long, just for a night but the bath tub was not cleaned and the towels were gray instead of white .

Location and breakfast was okay. Wifi worked in some part of the hotel but not in my room. Towels, linens and everything was so dirty I did not even want to touch them.

View to Meteora No information about CLOSED swimming pool before arrival. We travelled with childrens and choosed this hotel becuse of outdoor swimming poll and nobody informed us about renovation at hotel . They are making pool renovation in July with 37 degrees!! Horrible ..
