This properties location was great, the rooms were clean and had a great view. All the staff was very helpful. I don’t know if the sewer was an area wide problem that caused it, but both our rooms smelled like sewer terribly. The staff did offer to check it out but we did smell it in areas on the street too so it may have been out of their hands. They did give us some spray and we opened doors and ran the air when they were closed to air it out, which helped but did not completely eliminate it. We did get used to it after a while so we were not sure if maybe it was a local thing and they no longer noticed it?

The WiFi not very good ... the sheets and the cover don't smell good ...

Big thanks to the receptionist lady, who kindly explained all the sightseeings in the area and provided us with a Mountain View room! She is the best! This hotel is located on the main street and there’s plenty of room to park a car nearby The bed was basically king size, that was a nice surprise Hot water took a really long time to warm up. That wasn’t an issue after a long hot day, but in the morning that was… refreshing

The check-in experience was smooth and pleasant thanks to the staff’s wonderful attitude—welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind.

Great value for money, hotel was a little older but really clean, spacious rooms with an incredible view of the mountains. Staff were friendly and the location was great, walking distance from all of the best restaurants and bars in the town. Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Would definitely recommend it. A few light bulbs in the room were not working, not a big deal though. Everything else was great so a minor complaint really.

The location is great. Right in town minutes walk away from shopping and restaurants. We had to get seperate rooms as no 2 bedroom options but we’re placed on same floor next to each other which was great. View from balcony was fabulous. Bathroom layout isn’t great, the showers were nice but small toilets low to floor and one room had the toilet stuck in a corner with no leg room for anyone over 5 foot 10. Was cramped

Location The beds are uncomfortable, the air conditioner is directly above the bed.. Since there was a group of tourists at breakfast before us, there were very few options left...

Location was great as well as the view of the room. We requested a double bed we got 2 single beds pushed together. We got some take out food, the leftovers were covered in termites within 1 hour of setting it down. Once the food was gone the termites were gone. In the bathroom the shower door did not close all the way, so water leaked on the floor. But no map to clean it up.

Nothing to complain about.

It was a very good experience The asking if we had paid for the breakfast. That was not a good feeling.

Perfect and quiet location, the rooms are with a splendid view on the Meteora rocks and 2 of the monastery; the personnel is verry kind and helpful; there is a few verry good tavernas, coffee, market and stores in less than 250m from the hotel; on friday there is a street vegetables market; and last but not least, it is verry practical if you came with your own ot rental car, there is plenty of free places in front of the hotel. actually you have all you need for a perfect and pleasant stay at meteora, that make you feel the authentic spirit of the locals. the wifi signal can be weak for some moments but will do the work.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rex. My room had a beautiful view of Meteora and even though I was on the street side, it was quiet at night. The breakfast was good and the location was excellent. Right across the street was a little grocery store where I could pop in for fruit or water and there was a big selection of restaurants nearby. The town of Kalambaka was adorable. Nothing
