We liked pretty much everything, especially the delightful, kind, friendly, helpful and hard working staff. We liked the library itself. We thought that our room (no 12) with its little balcony, was great. We liked the hotel's distinctive individual character. We liked the location at the heart of the village of Kalavasos. There was nothing we did not like. We would have preferred hotter coffee, but when we asked, that was provided.

The breakfast was good It tooks me me more than half hour to open the room door

I liked the setting, the room, the food and the staff were great. The main room near the lobby, the library itself, was a great place to relax. There is nothing I disliked about this property.

Very bad experience. Completely unprepared to accomodate visitors. They run out of all the room amenities. The room was not clean enough. The matress was bad causing discomfort and making it very difficult to fal asleep. Not prepared to feed their visitors either. Not professional approach at all.

All meals were very good. Location lovely. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Had slight issues with heating the room. Was dealt with satisfactorily. February not the best time to visit.

This is a charming hotel with great potential. Food was nice and the ambience is superb. So much is in need of repair, the jacuzzi in the room, shower heads, light bulbs, showers in the spa, and loose taps.

Clean and spacious rooms. There was a fireplace at the library area Free parking space near the hotel The receptionist was very friendly and professional Booked a suite with a private jacuzzi. However the main jacuzzi control panel was not working and only the small jets were turning on by a secondary single button. So, the jacuzzi light, the big jets and the heater were not working. Also the water was getting cold very fast and we could not get the jacuzzi filled with warm water. The owner said that the main controls (that were not working) were only for the radio which I believe was a lie as there are multiple different buttons as shown in the pictures. About the water, she said to try later when less people are using the hot water which seemed a little bit unprofessional. Basically, the jacuzzi was unusable and upgrading to a suite felt like a waste of money

Nothing So firstly we didnt had hot water for more than 2 minutes, the staf when they showed us the room they didnt told us anything about the jacuzzi nor the elevator also on our last day they ironically asked us if we had hot water that was very rude of the staff. They also didnt have enough towels and also we tried calling the desk from the room phone but didnt work this is unacceptable.

Staff were very welcoming; loved how tastefully upgraded the beautiful old building was; loved the village location; breakfast was just right (no evening meal taken); very relaxing. Not a fan of bath robes so would have preferred better quality towels - and somewhere to dry them. Cypriot accommodation seems to be a bit short of radiators ?. On same theme, would have welcomed the fire being lit (it was December). We experienced noise issues with the air conditioning units trying to heat the place.

It was so unique and well kept. I would have liked to know more about the history of the property though maybe when the lady was showing us the rooms. Everything was amazing!
