Staff were very courteous and helpful. They were eager to resolve issues. Clean facility, always looks new even though I have been going to this hotel for almost 10 years. Complimentary buffet breakfast is great, with lots of Japanese and Western selections, they offer local foods such as rice, yogurt, vegetables, milk. Location is in central Kamaishi. Nice osento, which they translate as 'public bath', but it is really a private Japanese style bath for guests' use. It is not technically an onsen because the bath is manmade, but the experience is similar. Convenient coin laundry facilities, microwave. Delicious complimentary coffee in the lobby. WiFi can be spotty in some areas. We first got a room where WiFi didn't work at all, but staff were helpful and offered us a different room with better WiFi. It still dropped out off and on, but it was useable. I have stayed here before and did not have an issue with WiFi, so hopefully this is temporary. Hotel access from the Kamaishi train station is not as good as it could be (not the hotel's fault). It is about a 15 minute walk or a taxi ride (less than 5 minutes), but there is only a local bus that stops about 1.5 blocks away that seem to run hourly.

Reasonable sized rooms for a Japanese chain hotel. Good breakfast and laundry facilities. This is a smoking hotel - we had a non-smoking room which was fine however there was a cigarette smell in the lifts and corridors.

the hotel is very clean and bath is a good place to enjoy. When I was booking, the booking.com reminds me that I will have a thousand travel coupons in the "Japan national travel discount" program for each stay. However, I did not receive that coupon, I strongly suspect the hotel staff hide it from us and take advantage of it.
