Hotel Glaros

When we first arrived and the receptionist told us he really wasn't a receptionist. This man then took us to our room and pointed out all the broken doors and told us that an "American broke it" and it made me wonder why it's not fixed by the Greeks who owned it. Very unprofessional to tell us that. The breakfast on alternate days had mini hot dogs as it's only warm meat ... No bacon. No real whole fresh fruit either. We had to pay to use the room safe (are they that desperate for money?). They only change towels every few days and we received a few with stains and I said nothing about it to them but upon checkout the receiptist made me pay and buy those towels and yelled at me when I questioned him about it. Most of the staff seemed unhappy but I can't read minds. I am 68 years old, travelled to every Con6 and never once been made to pay for towels that I supposedly stained upon checkout. I will never stay there again.

The breakfast is really good. They have pastries, eggs, cereals, yogurt, fruits and many more. The location is very good, very close to the beach. The facilities are a little old but not bad. They charge extra for the safe and the beach towels. No coffee or tea in the room

They charge 5 euros to use the safe. Then they asked to charge 7€ to use the towels from the pool.besides that, they charged 15 euros for enviromental fee. We found little ants in the bathroom.

Love Kamari Beach; hotel is only a short walk from beach. Of course, hotel is very close to many, many wonderful restaurants. Lovely staff members, and a good breakfast.

Very nice stuff, nice big pool, very good location and the price is good The breakfast was very simple for my opinion, towels for the pool are charged for money, the room was ok but needs some important upgrades- the air conditioning is not very strong, the whole power shuts down after you leave the room and take the key as well the refrigerator so you cannot really put things there unless it is night time , the wifi in the room is very very weak…

The property was extremely clean & we had a quiet room, the staff were all very friendly. The bathroom was small, and the shower head was placed too high, it had a shower curtain which stuck to you every time you had a shower and the floor got very wet. The terrace was small.

This is a small cosy hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are pleasant, not luxuriously furnished, but all spotlessly clean and the beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel offers all sorts of additional services (transfers, excursions etc) and on the day of our stay there was also the opportunity to shower and change before our flight in the evening.The breakfast was varied, delicious and served on a very nice and lovely terrace.The hotel is in the centre of Kamari Beach, just steps away from restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach is only a 5-minute walk away. There are several large free parking lots nearby, so parking our rental car was no problem. -

Very friendly, comfortable rooms, lovely view, good breakfast, great location, quiet but just a short walk to the beach & lovely restaurants nearby The pool was great to cool off in with a lovely Mountain View but not so easy for my 80-year old Mum who would have liked a handrail to get in at the shallow end & more of it suitable for swimming within her depth.

The staff and the view are excellent! The room was quite big, and extra clean. Everything was good. An Iron would be wonderful to have in the room.

The location is perfect and super quiet too. It’s spotless clean with very professional staff who are so helpful. Will 100% stay there again and recommend to anyone. Nothing!

Very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and all other amenities! There are bus services from Kamari to other parts of Santorini which is highly convenient. We used the boat tour recommended by the hotel staff and had an amazing day! Thank you hotel Glaros for making our trip to Santorini so perfect. We had a room close by to the stairs and could hear people coming and going late at night and in the early mornings.

Our holiday in Santorini was very good but this hotel is a pure failure.We start with the room where it is quite clean but where they don’t give you towels every day but every 2 days or not at all so you have the same towels to shower with for a whole week.Breakfast every day is the same tasteless with little choice. At check out the lady at the reception told us that we have to pay extra 26€ for the WASHING TOWELS because they are dirty and can’t be washed without any proof, pictures etc...at the end of it all when you ask why the extra charge for the towels is necessary and why they don’t change the towels the lady says that it’s their policy and that they are a 3 star hotel where they have the same standards....It is logical to try to be as good as you can be, not as bad as you can be!!!!

Everything was brilliant. What they put as a description on the website is what you get. Very convinient with everything, bus stop, shops, restaurant, beach are just 5 mins away. Breakfast has plenty to choose from and the staff are very helpful. Well definitely recommend and come back when we visit Kamari again. All are perfect.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the AC in our room, but they fixed it as soon as we asked for help. The location is PERFECT, restaurants, shops and the beach is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. They also provided a transfer from the airport and helped us pick a ship cruise around the island. We would absolulety recommend to stay here!

The hotel was super clean, quiet and the pool was the perfect size-never too crowded. The location was perfect, it was nice being only 2 minutes from the beach but also away from the strip at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times The breakfast was ok but because of the size of the hotel there were not as many options as we hoped-we enjoyed the unlimited juice and coffee
