Ancient Thera Apartments

Please makes lot of difference; amazing people specially Evangelia and Artemis very down to earth. Facilities maintain and breakfast was on time. Good size swimming pool children absolutely loved it! Bathroom needs some good fragrances and able to lock the door during shower. Need small leg dryer just outside the bathroom to stop wetting floor. Small door stopper so it will not close due to wind.

There was only 1 staff and she was old enough and was not that supportive

Property was clean. Pool and poolside area very clean. Budget accommodation in a quiet area. Nice restaurants close by and a nice bakery Very basic breakfast. Apartment dated. No cooking facilities just a plug in stovetop (one ring) . No shower curtain in bathroom

It was very short, but it was good!… I’ll come back? Actually, to be honest, just you need to focus on the arrival time because u can’t check out early you have to wait till 15:00 p.m.

The only thing I liked here was the sunrise view from the property. Rooms were not at par with the pricing. There was no picture of the room at booking.com. Else, we would have reconsidered the booking here. All the beds had the mattress with springs coming out. None of us could sleep, and had sore backs the next day. Ac was effective only upto 1 room, and the second adjoining room was boiling hot. There was no one at the property to address anything after the checkin. As soon as we checked in, we were asked to confirm the breakfast menu. We didn’t get even 5 minutes to discuss or decide. We asked the host if we can check out a bit late, as our flight was at midnight the next day. She said, we could check out at 11:30 am, instead of 11 am. But, right at 11 am, they knocked at our door and asked us to vacate the room. Pool was small and pool area was not clean. Balcony with the room was full of ants. Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all, specially with kids.

The view of the hotel is amazing. It is quiet and very warm welcoming. The swimming pool is clean and always open. In general it felt like visiting my relatives on the village, so safe and comfortable. The best choice for the money guaranteed.

Location has good views and it not in the center will all the major noise. Yard is well kept and staff is 10/10. Pool water was too cold for my taste, I opted to go the ocean instead. Major negative here is that the beds did NOT have a mattress topper, so you are going to feel the metal springs on you back. Breakfast super plain with no fruits. TV did not turn on. Bathroom very tight and sink located right in front of toilet seat so you will bump into it. Zero soundproofing, so woke up to every single noise coming from outside.

Ancient Thera apartments were as depicted in photos. Very Good value. The pool was a nice touch. white and blue colors are traditional and it makes you feel like you are a part of that tradition. Rooms are clean, breakfast is included. the hotel is close enough to the beach so you don't walk too much and far enough that engine sounds are not audible. overall, we recommend. A pussy cat named Kata didn't appear after the first day. I wonder where he is.

Loved it here, the whole family was amazing to us, the vie from the hotel unmatched, very close to everything in Kamari, great location, i loved every single thing breakfast was simple but absolutely enough

I guess it’s cheaper than the hotels. The bed is hard. We had to ask for a spare spoon, there was only one spoon to be used by two people. The food is very much rationed, two slices of bread per person, one slice of cheese, one slice of the meaty part, juice is a cordial mixed with water. To make things even worse the elderly owner blatantly refused to lend us an iron to press our clothes- her immediate answer is always “NO”. The daughter and granddaughter are kind, eg, they helped me to phone the police station and the cruise agent when I lost my passport, but when the grandmother arrived at the ‘office’ and found me sitting as the two were helping me you should have seen her face. All in all it was not a pleasant stay at all. I had read the good reviews and that’s why I booked the place, but clearly I was wrong.

Everything was perfect! We love the most to have little changing words with the cutest granny there, considering that English is not her language, she had a very good understanding and we were well impressed about it.She is a very sweet old lady who take care of the place and made us the breakfast every morning. Thanks to her the place feels so homey and peaceful. A big plus is the beautiful morning view with the Sunrise right in the front of the balcony. Thank you Ancient Thera Apartments for the experience we had there!

Great apartments close to the beach, stores and the many cafes/ restaurants in Kamari. The pool is small but well kept. The hotel is run by a family who are very kind and welcoming. Rooms are spacious, comfortable with basic amenities. Large bed and a small kitchenette. Aircon worked well . I think it was great value when considering where to stay in Santorini.

The rooms was good, like simple but nice, if you want to feel like you are in a family Greek house that the place to be. Breakfast wasn’t good, they really need to improve. The TV wasn’t working well.
