Alkyon Hotel

It was very cozy and run by a lovely, friendly family. Everything was very clean, and the whole place smelled fresh and pleasant. Super big and comfortable bed and soft pillows.

The shower didn’t have a shower door, although I think this was just the design.

The hotel is very well-maintained, clean, and the swimming pool is nice. The room is comfortable and clean. The hotel is owned and operated by a family, everyone was very nice and friendly, provided many helpful tips. Although it is far away from Fira and Oia, and we rented a car, so it is nice and quiet, away from the big crowds. It is only 5 minute drive to Kamari village center and the black sand beach, where there are many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Overall, we are very happy that we chose this hotel, and would highly recommend it for someone rent a car. It is near the airport, so we can hear the noises from the airplanes. The breakfast has no hot items.

Everything was great. Staff were friendly, responsive and helpful; going above and beyond to help us organize transport, not only for our stay with them, but also our return journey (from a different island). Very high standard of cleaning. Beds were comfy and all our needs were met. N/A ?

Friendly and helpfull staff, rooms were cleaned and tiedied daily. The staff helped us organize transport and even allowed us to stay longer in our rooms our last day. Breakfast and coffee was superb and its possible to have it outside on the terrasse or by the pool. You get a lot more than you paid for even comapared to luxury properties on the caldera.

The hotel is really good, the hostess is really kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, the bed is comfy. Everything is clean and smelling good. You can get 2 options of bus to Fira, the capital. The location is only perfect if you have your own transport or you are coming from the airport.. Overall, it was a good experience. It could be better if the hotel has your own transfer from the port. If you are not renting a car and you are comig from the port is not a good option, buses are kind of messy and the bus to the port you cant get it that easily.

Everything was perfect. I have to say this family run hotel was Everything and more. clean sheets , towels every day and they go above and beyond. lovely place to stay . I am being very truthful I could not find anything .

Everything was perfect! Small hotel, worth money. The balcony is so beautiful. They clean rooms every day, which is really pleasant. Even high star hotels don’t provide such exceptional cleaning services like this hotel. Staff were really nice and have always been ready to help us anytime we needed anything. We had a late flight and they allowed us to leave the bags in the hotel and use a shower in the evening, even though we already checked out. Highly appreciate that. I definitely would stay again, recommend this hotel

Exceptional

Great and clean room,swimming pool,very kind staff moved us another day due to a small bed, very helpful.Delicious breakfast,the best hotel on our journey. Very small bed first night- check the size before you book,it was only 130 cm but it was written and we didnt notice.

The property was great, very clean, quiet and organised. The breakfast is small but good quality, all the people work there are amazing, they are there for anything you can need. It was more than I expected. I’m super happy to choose them The only thing I can say it was the internet on there room doesn’t work properly
