Excelsis Garden Hotel Kampala

The garden was very well maintained with a variety of plants selections. The room size are good enough and the washroom was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The mattress a little bit hard

The staff were extremely helpful. The best part of the property is the Plantation and trees are well located and maintained. The bed was a little bit hard.

The dogs that were located in the back of the hotel where the single rooms were located. They barked for nearly 2 hours. I had security speak to the owner of the dogs for them to stop barking and interrupting your guests.

One of the best parts of this hotel is its beautiful garden. It truly feels like a peaceful hidden oasis in the middle of the city’s chaos — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I also had the chance to meet the owner, Mr. Richard, who was very welcoming, kind, and hospitable. His positive attitude and attention to guests really make the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great and had options to choose from Loved the clean rooms with the all the necessary items. Staff was friendly and helpful since I we are not locals. Consider having an iron box to assist the clients if they may need to iron their clothes. It will really be helpful. Also consider smart tvs that can allow more channels.

Location and Breakfast Limited Restaurant Options.

I loved the layout of everything. The grounds were pretty-loved the beautiful flowers. The mosquito net was pretty cool too.? The location was a bit out of the way.

Generally I liked the place. in the garden it is quiet and nice to sit and have a beer. The second room (standard towards garden) i was in was also good from its size and the quietness. I started up with the single room and it was on the road side. It is really too loud. It is alor really a bit cramped (small). I paid locally extra to be transferred to the garden-side standard-room. What also is almost a deal-breaker for me when i return is that there was no proper coffee for breakfast. only instant coffee. I will check next time before i come if they did not fix the coffee machine i will not come.

I loved the room! it was quite place. The restaurant has very nice food for lunch/dinner. Hot water, net and wifi is available! Good stay!

Exceptional

Location, accessible from the by-pass. The gardens were very well maintained ant it was very peaceful, despite being close to a busy road. The bar and restaurant staff are well trained and the food is delicious. The room is big and comes with tea/coffe station, fridge, TV... everything you need. Close to the Endere cultural center. The bed was a bit sunk in the middle. Miscommunication between front desk and restaurant about packed breakfast for our early morning departure.

The provided a pleasant stay with comfortable rooms, but very hard mattress that was uncomfortable —friendly and attentive staff, and a it’s very far from everything but near the highest. The breakfast buffet was particularly unimpressive with little variety of options. While the Wi-Fi could be slightly faster, overall, the experience was very positive and would definitely recommend this hotel to others The bed was uncomfortable and mosquito got in the bed net
