The only downside was that we were given a room facing the street even though there were other rooms available.
-
Amazing hotel that is in the heart of Kampot's old quarter. Super clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and decent breakfast. Nothing

This is a really beautiful hotel with a wonderful French-historic vibe right in the center of Kampot. The staff here are 100% amazing and incredibly accommodating. I would definitely return here!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay really deserves one. I booked this place based on what people said about the owner, Pascal—and honestly, every single review was spot on. He’s incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling over the top. From the moment I arrived, everything just felt easy and comfortable. You can tell he truly cares about his guests, not just running a business. It’s rare to come across hosts like this, and it really made the whole experience that much better. If you’re staying in Kampot, I’d definitely recommend this place. Nothing.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kampot’s colonial heritage centre — ideal if you want to experience the town itself rather than stay out at a resort. The room was beautifully curated — tasteful, not overdone — with a real nod to heritage. Well appointed with tea and coffee facilities, a spacious bathroom, and the added practicality of a separate toilet. The building is a lovingly restored French colonial property, and the artistic detail throughout is exceptional — subtle hand-painted touches, bespoke furnishings, and antique pieces. Cleanliness was outstanding, especially considering the nature of a heritage building — daily housekeeping was immaculate. Breakfast was simple but very well done — French pastries, tropical fruit, good coffee, and homemade preserves, served on the street-side terrace. The staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Thiero in particular was charming and welcoming, making it feel more like staying in a private home than a hotel. Security is well handled — guests are given a key to the front door, which adds to the relaxed, homely atmosphere.

It was one of the most beautiful originally restored with a wonderful interior design - if you have time step by!

The owner was so helpful in getting us transportation and a guidefor our daily destinations. Breakfast was worth the extra cost. The streets were a little noisy but some might say that's part of the charm of being in the city.

A simply designed, beautifully appointed french colonial boutique hotel. Superb service from the super friendly owner, Pascal. He and his team couldn't have done more for us, including rearranging our transfer so we could take the new fast ferry to Koh Rong direct from Kampot. Pascal booked everything, door to door, saving us money and reducing our travel time by over 2 hours. The best breakfast of our whole 4 weeks in Cambodia and Laos. Beautiful omelette, crusty French baguette, flaky croissant, and quality fresh fruit. Amazing, I hope we can return one day. Everything was perfect.

This was a very comfortable boutique hotel. The whole hotel was decorated lovely. It was done artistically which made the experience very pleasant. There were only 5 rooms in the hotel which gave it a small comfortable feeling. A gallery was part of the building showing a local artist. The owner Pascal and his staff were the warmest and friendliest. A great conclusion to my Cambodian trip. A decent breakfast for $6. no issues.
