The bike rental is awesome. The room was large. The shower was great. Staff was very friendly Old building with low doors. I am tall so I had to duck through doorways but not a big deal. Our room was also right by a school gym and we could hear the practice. They were always done before we went to bed anyway.

Quality of food was good for the most part. The first of 3 days was superior with a super chef prepared food and greeting with a smile. However, the last 2 breakfasts were poor, especially the subpar and disappointing customer service. The one female staff appeared uninterested in providing us service. Very unfortunate experience. The last 2 breakfast experiences were awful.

Great location and price, not a lot more than that. During the time of my stay at this hotel I noticed almost everyone staying there was Japanese, so if You are solo travelling and looking for a place to meet other people this may not be your place to stay. Everything was fine.

location wise a bit far from main train station but it's within the tolerance of walking distance ~15min walk. ~20 mins walk to main market and attraction mall. lift in the building helped with all the luggage and the staff was friendly and helpful in lending us spare umbrella to brace the snow storm. overall pleasant stay at the hotel. nothing significant. the experience worth the money paid.

Location near station Housekeeper threw away our slippers. Brochure indicates that we have to pay for tea and even towels. No bottled water

The location is great as it is close to the train station which means you don’t have to lug your baggage around and it is handy to transportation to see all the attractions of Kanazawa. There are also lots of good quality eateries in the vicinity at reasonable prices. Even though it is nearby the station without google maps it could be a little difficult to find. Google maps isn’t 100% accurate with lots of sharp quick turns.
