Staffs are nice and the room is clean The walls are super thin and you can hear all the noise from rooms next to yours and above and below.

Lots of parking, nice staff, Bed comfortable Room was stale so had to put Aircon on and open a window. Furniture old, carpet stained. Sink stained. Friends room smelled like stale urine. Had to ask for another room. Pictures on booking are from better days. WiFi took four attempts to find.

The Hotel Satsukien in Kanoya is an high quality Hotel, very good location, large parking area, great value for money. Very helpful, friendly staff, easy check-in, large comfortable, clean and well-lit rooms. This Hotel is certainly the one to go for if staying in Kanoya.

Beautiful location, great view from the balcony over the sea, great onsen with mineral water, proximity to National park No swimming beach around, closest 30 minutes drive

We were on our way from Miyazaki to Ibusuki via the car ferry after checking out some nice waterfalls in between and the Nichinan coast. I was surprised to find such a big grand hotel in a out of the way rural area. Although there is no onsen, the town does have onsen options you could visit and we were happy with the room/breakfast for the price we paid. There are also dinner option within the hotel which was great as it was raining hard on the evening we had dinner here. I'd stay again if I needed a hotel in this area again. If I had to complain, the only thing missing was an onsen. But overall the place was better than I expected really.
