I had a brilliant 17 night stay here in L&P Guesthouse. The room was spacious with lots of storage and the balcony was perfect to sit out and have breakfast. The staff in housekeeping and behind reception at Aloha could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Wifi is really quick and reliable. On the 3rd night, during a very rainy spell, I noticed quite a bad leak from the ceiling in my room. I reported it to the reception desk on my way out the following morning and they sent maintenance to have a look. I received a text to say the repair would take a few days so I was given two options of rooms to move to. My new room was the mirror image of my original room. The location of this property is fantastic. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of great restaurant options in both directions upon exiting the building. The bed was rock hard so if you like a soft bed I would not recommend staying here. I too noticed some staining on the bedding, as was noted in other reviews, but it was obvious from the smell that the bedding had been washed and the stains just didn’t come out. There is no elevator so people with mobility issues should look elsewhere.

We liked this place a lot. They treated us with kindness and respect. The room was pretty new, everything we needed for the couple of days we stayed in Kata. Nothing. You should definitely consider staying here. Do keep in mind the place is simple, we basically only used the room for a good night's sleep.

Very nice guesthouse, it’s all brand new and they just opened. Is the same owner of the hotel next to it, Aloha Residence. All was very clean, very nice staff. Only 8 minutes walking to the beach and a lot of restaurant around
