Fishtail Hostel Phuket

So clean, on main road with no noise, very close to beach and few facilities. The street dogs in entrance

Check-in was a bit confusing as the QR code is not on the first floor. Me and other guests I met are almost all welcomed by other guests into the right place. Also, I didn't notice this hostel doesn't have a lift. It can be hard if you aren't prepared for that.

Fantastic. Soft bed, everything well organized, really fun art throughout. The little kitchenette/common room was very helpful for us since we had a very early morning departure. Bananas, crackers, and drinking water available all the time, which is also helpful. Common bathrooms were clean and plentiful enough that there was never a wait, and they have real doors so you have privacy. The location is phenomenal- walk right across the street to the beautiful beach. Property great, Zero complaints.

Well what can I stay? The host is so lovely and accommodating The hostel is very clean and cleaned daily Fresh water and tea and coffee for guests. Great view of the beach and 3-5 minute walk to the beach great location for easy to get to other parts of Phuket too as well the area it self is very nice Highly recommend. Great hostel! I stayed in a single room. It was comfortable and clean, with a TV. There were always showers and WC available. The location is great, with the beach and bars right by. Very quick and helpful replies from staff over WhatsApp. May be showers and washrooms could be a little cleaner, but it was still acceptable. There are no knives in the kitchen. I understand that Thai people don’t use knives much, but tourists really need them for example to cut fruits! So a couple of knives in the kitchen would be great to have.

The location was good, the place and the rooms were clean at all times , and we had great communication through what's app with the reception. The bed mattress was very bad for my back.

Terrific location for the beach view, as well as taxi/songathiew and food/money exchange, etc. Very clean and very comfortable. The owner (Waaw) is wonderful! She is warmly welcoming and expresses interest in the comfort and safety of guests. I was here during Songkran and she gave great guidance on where to go, how to get there. I’m sure Waaw makes any stay at Fishtail feel worthwhile ~ I’ll stay here again, and next time I’ll pack lighter! I’m lugging a super heavy backpack and extras so I struggled a little with the 3 flights of stairs. But Waaw was so observant and kind… She carried the heaviest bags down upon my leaving.

Loved my stay here, would 100% recommend it to anyone!!! Super friendly staff and check-in process, great location with lot of things to do near by (food, shopping, night market, beach etc). Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-kept, hot water is available for showering and AC works perfectly for the hot days. Stayed for 2 days so didn't use any laundry services so can't comment, but there's an area to dry clothes outside. Love this place !! It's a little hard to find the small signage to enter the first time, but once you know where it is it's all good. May have some trouble with locating the hostel when using Grab/Bolt, but it's right next the diving / swim clothes store!

Very clean and quiet, nice place to stay!

The location couldn't be any better, literally across from the beach. Many places to dine. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Can count on: walk to beach, drinking water, beach mat, towel, banana. Karon Beach is not as crowded as Patong. Very lovely water and enough dining and shopping options to satisfy me.

first of all the location !!! i loved it so much it was so easy to access (you just need to take the smart bus from the airport and get off at the karon circle they drop you off right in front of the hostel ?) everything was near and even though it's in a busy area the room wasn't noisy. It was clean & the room was big enough to move around. also the bed was very comfortable and i loved that the lockers are next to your bed not having an elevator is a downside of this place. I wish they could use a better toilet paper, put hangers in the lockers and if they add a microwave in the kitchen that would be perfect

The location, very fast response from the staff and very helpful as well, big lockers with only 4 people per room As the AC in room 1 is blowing directly to the bunk bed in front of the door, which can be too cold to the people sleeping on that bunk bed but if you turn it off, it can be too hot for the people sleeping on the other bunk bed.

There is nothing specific I can say I didn’t like.

I really like this place like a home.very quite and comfortable and the boss very friendly.
