It's better that the hotel shall directly tell the customer that early check is not possible.

The Albatross Hotel is in a convenient location with very good public transport links; restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and bakeries. There are rental opportunities for transport nearby. Although there was an issue with the shower room, this was addressed immediately. Staff appeared within 5 to 10 minutes of my notifying Reception. Following assessment, the problem was then rectified within about 30 minutes. (I was impressed with the speed and effectiveness of this response.). Generally throughout my 7 days' stay, I observed staff to be working very hard, yet remaining approachable and professional. The hotel is kept very clean throughout. The lady who cleaned my room was particularly pleasant. My room opened onto a terrace next to the swimming-pool area. The pool was cleaned daily. The paths, and adjacent areas around the pool being swept every morning and tidied every evening. The breakfast area is managed very well. Staff are vigilant to ensure it is replenished appropriately and consistently cleaned. Staff seemed to pay good attention to detail. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and catered for. I would stay at this hotel again. All satisfactory.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from Fira, offering both convenience and tranquility. The pool was stunning, providing a great place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working correctly during our stay.

Very nice property. Clean and well maintained. Large pool. Apartments big and comfortable with balconies. Bakery near by open 24 hours with great food. I stayed 2 nights but I wish I stayed there 5 more. Great place to decompress. Pool closes at 9 pm but I sneaked for a dip after 9 and was ok.

Reception staff really friendly & helpful, answered all our queries. Were also able to book trips & taxi for us. Location perfect, easy walk to Fira but also bus stop outside if preferred. Pool was a welcome relief at the end of the day. Beautifully clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Room air-conditioning worked well, beds comfortable & room clean. Restaurant round the corner called Katerina's traditional restaurant recommended by hotel was very good, delicious food, great service and very reasonably priced. Only had a long weekend but thoroughly enjoyed all round. Thank you very much! Nothing!

Nice pool, clean room, wonderful staff. Not much to complain about other than weak wifi in our room.
