Big fiasco with booking. I had booked a suite and 1 double room. Initially they called to say technical glitch with system and they upgraded to a better suite. Few days before trip I get messages from Booking.com that my Amex card declined, which it should not, then I updated new card on both room and suite bookings. Informed hotel that card updated. Suddenly on the date of travel and when I am just 1 and 1/2 hr from destination I get a call that the suite booking got cancelled and someone else has taken the suite. I had international guest and was in a mess. The hotel then managed to get me 2 rooms. But if i did not have a suite I would have cancelled the trip. So it was a bad experience and need to get to the bottom of it. Whether it was a booking. Com system problem or hotel issue.

Location and mountian views from the property are awesome. The setup of rooms arounds the pool gives lovely view.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Velmore Kasauli! Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly warm, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, offering a perfect blend of taste and quality. The property itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and offering breathtaking views. From the ambiance to the service, everything was simply outstanding. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Velmore Kasauli to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. Looking forward to visiting again soon! The property is located in a very quiet and picturesque part of Kasauli - away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. We had booked the Orchid 3 Bedroom Cottage that was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff at the reception and restaurant were always very friendly, helpful and provided quick service. Food at the restaurant was superb and reasonably priced. We stayed at this property for 4 nights, ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and loved both the food and service every single time. Last few kilometers of the approach road to the hotel is quite bumpy, as it is located in a remote village of Kasauli. At the property, there were some maintenance issues (related to carpet / upholstry maintenance and AC temperature control in one of the rooms) that we pointed to the management staff - they promptly acknowledged and said they would get them addressed. For a cottage of this size, we expect self-laundy option (ie washing machine and dryer) provided in the cottage, which is very helpful for longer stays or large groups

The staff is very hospitable especially Aastha ,Pankaj & Akshay. The food is too delicious. Its a perfect getaway for a couple as the rooms are spacious and the views are amazing. The approach road to the hotel needs a repair.
