Kata Hillside Hotel

Excellent location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great recommendations for places to eat, clean and comfortable pool, nice rooms that are very clean and comfortable. Bed's are a little bit on the firm side for our preferences, but not bad.

The whole place was immaculately clean the entire time. The staff were attentive and very kind and even ordered a surprise birthday cake for my son's birthday. We were in a family room with direct access out to the swimming pool. N/A

Clean and like new! Small and quiet

The proprietor Eh Eh and her sisters are warm and friendly. Lovely ladies. Made us feel very welcome. It took over an hour to get there from the airport and the ride was expensive. When I booked the property, they said I would get a free ride to and from the airport, but I could never figure out how to do that. Contacted customer service and they never responded to me.

The hotel manager and staff were lovely, so accommodating and helpful. We hit a couple snags and they were so understanding. We loved the pool. It was so nice to have in the heat and the aquarium wall was so cool. It was a great place for laying out and relaxing with a great view. The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shops. The massage place next door is associated with the hotel I believe and I got the best massage of my life there. Also laundry service was available which was so convenient. It was a great place to stay. The one thing that could be a problem for others is the lack of elevator. However I appreciated that our room was on the fourth floor because we had a great view.

Overall had a lovely stay here ,clean ,comfortable and great location.

The location is tucked away up a hill with a view of big Buddha statue. Eateries, 7 eleven are accessed By a quick 5 min walk

Great location, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast nice. Hiring motorbike from there was very handy and easy. You need to be fit enough for the steps to you room.

Exceptional

The welcoming, the facilities, the staff and overall a great experience. Me and my partner have decided if we return this would be our place to return. Eh Eh! was very hospitable, warming and we felt that we would be looked after if an instance is were to arise. There is a brilliant gym which we didn't even get a chance to use but it's well maintained and has great equipment especially for a hotel. Having the ability to rent a bike also from her keeps everything convient so all catering etc is kept under one roof. Again there's a lovely pool which we didn't get to experience with beautiful fish next to it. Unfortunately our time has run out but would definitely like to revist again and experience more of Phuket/Kata. Thank you so much Eh Eh, please remember us for future ?? What's not to like 10/10

Very polite and superb owner Eh Eh, the staff was really kind and helpful! Well good organised, with nice and cozy water pool. We find everything we want! Totally recommend! Noise some times from other customers with children.

Very spacious, clean room with pool access. Eh Eh was very helpful when we needed it the most. Unfortunately we had food poisoning and were unable to call an ambulance for at least an hour. Eh Eh came to the rescue at midnight. Very appreciative of your help. Nothing

They don't have an elevator. And located little far from beach. Otherwise, everything was good. Climbing stairs was challenging

The host, many facilities, pretty close to Kata Beach, motor bikes to rent on property, swimming pool at second floor. The host allowed us to stay at swimming pool because we had the arrival flight to early. The breakfast was not that varied

Our stay in Phuket was amazing. The window view was stunning, and my parents absolutely loved it. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, offering us great support throughout our stay. Additionally, they provide a personal parking space. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and colleagues in Germany. Nothing.

A special highlight was my husband's birthday—he was surprised with a cake at breakfast, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! We truly appreciated this personal touch. Throughout our stay, we received excellent recommendations about the region, which made our trip even more enjoyable. One of the best conveniences was being able to rent a scooter directly from the hotel at a great price. This saved us time and gave us peace of mind, knowing the process was reliable. The location is also fantastic—just a short distance from the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful stay.

Very friendly, helpful and accomodating staff! Easy walk down to the beach front and shops and also a lot of restaurants right outside.

This hotel is located slightly away from Kata beach, so it is away from the busy street and less noisy. I love that we have a big balcony / hang out place outside of our room, and we can see the Big Budhha from our balcony. The room is clean and spacious, facilities in the room is good too, it has robes! and AC in the room is awesome, we really appreciate the AC after came back from outside, cause the weather is scorching! The caretaker Eh Eh is very friendly and helpful and the staff is great too. Nothing that I don't like, but I think it'll increase my comfort more if they give 2 pillow (per person).
