The location is excellent very close to Pashupatinath Temple. Property/Rooms are very well maintained. Owner and staff is humble and polite. Food/Breakfast served were very tasty.

We loved the food. Breakfast was included and prepared as per requirement. We were not given the room that we booked last. Before booking the hotel we called them twice to confirm the number of days I need to book, the guy who answered the phone said to book a day in advance so that room is ready when we reach early in the morning around 2AM. Even though the hotel policy says 24 hours check in. And they were just giving different options saying this is what they can do. The guy at the reception said clearly booked room is not available so take what we are offering. The room provided had torn bed sheet, below par AC. I had such a horrendous experience at check in that I would not talk further on this. DO NOT BOOK THE HOTEL BY LOOKING AT THE PHOTOS ON BOOKING.COM

I recently stayed at Hotel Nilakantha and had a fantastic experience. The food service to the room was prompt and the meals were delicious. The room was impeccably clean, and the air conditioning kept us comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was varied and absolutely delightful. The staff and the owner were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommended!
