Best Western Plus Kathmandu Hotel

We had problems with our ac shutting off every hour through the night. Kept waking up too hot and didn’t sleep well. Also our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke making my breathing difficult.

I returned for the second time. This hotel is ideal for my visits to Kathmandu. Service, food, everything has become even better from my first visit.

Management should look into

Extremely clean, very friendly staff good food at the restaurant Everything is good the location it’s good because it’s close to the airport but nothing in good neighborhood but they make you feel safe and very comfortable. It’s not their fault that the city is kind of dirty and the river that the room with the great view of the river. It’s facing the river that’s dirty.

Staves are nice and the hotel is clean. Need more typical Nepali food.

Great staff - very helpful, cordial and accommodating. Big sized room with all amenities. Excellent breakfast buffet catering to different tastes. Housekeeping can definitely improve. They just about clear out the dustbins and replace water bottles. The beds aren't remade, it has to be specially requested. The location is not ideal if you want to enjoy the city sights. Pashupatinath Temple is walking distance though.

I recently stayed at Best Western Plus Kathmandu Hotel, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is unbeatable, making it convenient to explore the heart of Kathmandu. The rooms are not only spacious but beautifully designed, offering both comfort and elegance. One of the highlights of my stay was their rooftop bar, which offers a fantastic ambiance and stunning views of the city – perfect for a relaxed evening. The multi-cuisine restaurant was another delight, serving a well-curated menu with flavorful dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. While the breakfast spread could be improved a little, it was still satisfying and not a major complaint. What impressed me most was the outstanding hospitality from every single staff member – from security and front desk to the cloak boy and restaurant staff. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Best Western Plus Kathmandu Hotel for anyone seeking comfort, great service, and an excellent location. The breakfast spread could be improved a little, it was still satisfying and not a major complaint.

The sunset view was absolutely stunning, and the rooms were amazing – clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The breakfast had a great variety of delicious options, and the pool was also very nice and relaxing. The restaurant La Vista offered a great view as well, though unfortunately I couldn’t fully enjoy it because of the rain. The location felt convenient, and most of the staff were very attentive and friendly. The staff during the day were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure guests were comfortable. However, I did have a small issue with the night shift staff. It was raining heavily, and when I requested an umbrella just to reach the parking area from the reception, I was told all umbrellas were already being used by other guests. That would have been perfectly understandable, but the tone and lack of concern in the response made the interaction less pleasant. A little more courtesy would have gone a long way.

A great place to stay near Tribhuvan airport: very new and clean, friendy staff, delicious food, spacious and well-equipped rooms (fully sound-proof). I requested a late check out (+ 3 hours) for an additional relatively small amount and was kindly grated it. Felt very comfortable and cared for during my stay. Thank you~ Hope to be back again! N/A

Best value for money. Pool was awesome. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The mini refrigerator was not working.
