Wonderful place to stay. Tucked off the Main Street, so it’s a little quieter than some other hotels. Nice rooms with A/C. The staff, in particular, are absolute rockstars!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. My flight was delayed, and they kindly waited for us at the reception until late at night, which I truly appreciated. The housekeeping team—such lovely ladies—kept the rooms spotless every day. Breakfasts were generous and served on the rooftop, where you can enjoy an amazing view of the city. Highly recommended! Nothing

Food was not up to the expectation and the room rent is not value for money. The kitchen was poorly managed. The agreed to one order and then sent something else saying that the required ingredients were not available. On enquiry they made the dish they sent as complimentary.

Room was really clean and well equipped which is rare for Kathmandu . The room was very spacious with a nice balcony. Very good value for money. I will definitely stay again when in Kathmandu

The location is perfect: it is in noisy Thamel but in a quiet street. The staff is very friendly and helpful(special thanks to Preakchya). I liked to have breakfast on the rooftop. My room was very big, with comfortable beds and pillows. They provided bottled water everyday and the breakfast was good.

I really like the room; comfortable with everything that you need. The best things about the hotel is the workers. I am beyond greatful for the workers in the lobby, the cleaners and the ones helping with the breakfast on the roof. One of the workers named Preakchya was so kind and helpful and she cared for everything I needed and more!

Great hotel and value for money in the heart of thamel but on a quiet street. Lovely breakfast and service. Comfiest beds we stayed in Nepal. Hot water 24hrs (a luxury).

I had a wonderful stay at Himalayan Ghar! The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist, especially with organizing treks and tours. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a long day. The location is great, making it easy to explore the city, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu!

Excellent location that was a quick walk to everywhere in Thamel but on the outskirts this being a bit more quiet at night! Amazing rooftop balcony. Lovely hospitable staff. Really comfy bed. I wish the shower stayed hot a bit longer. The bathroom was nice but we had to do a “navy shower” each morning so both of us could get hot water.

Great location in Thamel off a quiet off street. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop deck.!The breakfast service was great and had a lot of great choices like pancake, made to order eggs, fresh watermelon juice, veggies, and more. We were only there for a couple nights, but would stay again. There weren’t many amenities in the apartment like dish soap. We heard some neighbors being loud with music early morning.
