Stayed at Hotel Jay Suites for our first day in Kathmandu, and overall it was a really good experience. As travelers from India, we found the location in Thamel very convenient—everything is nearby, including shops, restaurants, and tourist spots. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it perfect after a long journey. Basic amenities were all in place, and everything worked without any issues. One thing we appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere despite being in a busy area. It’s a good budget-friendly option for Indian travelers looking for comfort and accessibility in Kathmandu. Overall, a great start to our Nepal trip. Would definitely recommend for short stays.

Everything especially the guys there bibus and binod (spelling). Perfect placement! Quiet! Hot showers! Great food!!! So helpful even arranged buses while we were still in Philippines at LESS than the cost at the bus stop!!!!! Cant recommend enough! We will be back after our month trip in the mountains. Thanks so much! Stay here you wont regret it! Wala! It means nothing in philippines! Perfect!

This is by far my favorite place to stay so far in Kathmandu, spacious comfortable room, peaceful view and environment, I can sleep without interruption of street noise or hallway noise, new comfortable bed, great work space, wake up to bird songs, consistently hot water for showers, fast WiFi, totally solid all around and the staff are genuine and kind! Love it and extended my stay!

Great hotel right near the Thamel area but down a quiet alley. Nice rooms, friendly service, fast wifi, comfy beds, all around nice place. No problems

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Good breakfast available, no other meals. Our room was a good size and the back rooms are very quiet, which was lovely. No need to use aircon to block street noise.wifi worked well. Very happy with the hotel, would stay again. Nothing

Excellent location which is just off Thamel shopping area. Room is spacious, clean and well kept. Breakfast was simple and nice with choices for local or western cuisine. Staff ( Mr Bibas) were helpful, friendly and accommodating. nil
