Daali Hotel & Apartment

My wife and I stayed at Daali Hotel for about five days. We found the location to be incredibly convenient and within walking distance of many local attractions. The breakfast was great and slightly varied each day so it didn't feel repetitive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly spacious for two travelers. What we would really like to make clear, though, is that every member of the team - from the staff to the manager, Skrina, and the owner, Mr. Gurung - all made themselves available and treated us more like old friends than simply customers. We've stayed in many hotels in many different countries, and both of us agree that our stay at Daali Hotel was the best overall hotel experience we've ever had. My only criticism - and it's a small one - is that the room was equipped with what I'd call a "beverage chiller as opposed to a true mini fridge. It kept drinks that were already cold cool enough, but struggled to make room-temperature items as cold as a proper refrigerator would.

Wonderful stay! Clean, well‑designed rooms and a strategic location. Free storage, good breakfast, and thoughtful amenities made everything easy. Outstanding hospitality — every staff member was genuinely helpful. Honestly, I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like. In terms of value for money, the stay exceeded my expectations — from the rooms and amenities to the warm hospitality.

Everything was expectational but what clicked the most is the genuine care and attention from the staff. Everyday I was asked do you have any issue with the rooms, would you like to do some cleaning, anything else is required from our end. All these question made my place feel like home than a place to crash inbetween my next adventure.A bonus point was this was one of the places that has an elevator There isn't anything to dislike.

Everything is perfect! Nothing!

Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is tasty with many selections. Staffs are helpful and arranged a fabulous massage service for me during the stay.

Good location. Staffs very nice. Respond very quick with the request for something. breakfast limited. Many dishes or even coffee when running out not automatically refilled until you request. It happens not only one but during my 3 day stay. Staffs very friendly, polite and nice but I believe they don't know how to serve and what to do things right.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating, the room was clean and well kept, would gladly recommend this place to others in the future. The location is also really convenient. Loved the packed breakfast they provided for us when we weren’t able to attend their beautiful breakfast buffet spread. Good masala chai too.

The rooms were good sized, modern and looked new. The staff was friendly and always helpful. I had no issues with the room set-up. The breakfast buffet is very good. I really liked being able to get an omelette. The only issue I had was it's supposed to be a no smoking hotel but the hallway always stunk of cigs. I had to block the space at the bottom of the door to keep the stink out. I did not use the AC but if the AC is central with a ventilation system connecting all the rooms then if you use the AC you will get the stink in your room from all the rooms where people are smoking.

Friendly staff, convenient location and comfort None

The Daali is a first-class hotel. I would really love to give it 12 out of 10. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was always spotlessly clean and the breakfast was very delicious. Thank you once again for your warm hospitality and the excellent, guest-focused service!!!!! I can wholeheartedly recommend the Daali Hotel. Everything was perfect!

Everything about this hotel is great: the breakfast, the staff, the rooms, and the location. We stayed there for 2 nights and will be booking 2 more nights with them upon our return to kathmandu. 100% recommended!

Location is great for old town Breakfast quite basic

Situated in a nice location that is next to everything. Makes the stay very comfortable to get around. Very good if you want to explore Thamel, shop, eat and get around

This was one of the best hotels I stayed in in Nepal! The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and looked exactly like in the pictures. Comfortable bed and good shower water pressure. Great location (right inside Thamel). The food at the restaurant was tasty and the staff were nice and helpful.
