Kalum at reception was very helpful for organising my bus onward travel, and my late check in. Good WiFi, air conditioning very good, very clean hostel. Only stayed 1 night for onward travel. Close to the main bus station to explore Sri Lanka WiFi didn’t work in the rooms

Breakfast location is very peaceful.i only suggest about breakfast need to give everyday change option. May be for foreigner tourist that breakfast is good but for nepali and indian visitor we love to eat slide spicy,flavour full and heavy breakfast in morning.

It’s 2nd time staying here, wonderful as always for the price point. Really comfortable beds, which is the main reason I stay here. The staff are all lovely and the breakfast is great. Hot showers too! Highly recommend

The owner and some of the staff memebers are rude and aggressive. Upon check-in, the owner was acting incredibly strange. Once he found out we are Israeli he kept on rushing us to finish filling out the check in paper, by repeating rude words in Hebrew over and over again. Upon check-out, he forgot to charge me one extra night. When I noticed it and told him, he tried to over-charge me for that night. And when I pointed it out, he was acting passive-aggressive and took down the price, as if he was doing me a favour.

Amazing location, great free breakfast, nice staff!!

Consider nowhere else if staying in Kathmandu. We arrived very early in the morning on a flight and Elbrus let us check in early to our room at no additional cost. It is homely, there is always someone around to help/provide security and they provide a simple but nutritious breakfast each morning of banana, honey + egg on toast with tea/coffee. At all times staff at Elbrus were efficient, fair and helpful with onward transport and knowledge about Kathmandu. It's a bit set back from the road so pretty quiet at night as well. If we ever return in the future, this will be 100% where we want to stay again. Nothing!

Kiem, Ale and the staff are all so friendly and give very good service. The room is clean and comfortable. Hot shower available. I like the garden that adds nature feel while you are in the city. You can also watch sunset from the rooftop. The location is close to Thamel. Recommended.

Basically everything, really good value, nice & friendly staff, perfectly located near Thamel. Will definitely come back.

The place is quiet, comfortable, and the free breakfast is fantastic—far better than I expected. They even helped me arrange my bus ticket, which I really appreciated. My experience here exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend Elbrus Home to anyone staying in Kathmandu! Everything was fantastic

We LOVED our time staying in Elbrus Home. During our 3 month stay in Nepal, we stayed here multiple times in between treks, or visiting various parts of the country. It felt like our home away from home. Incredible value with a great breakfast every morning. Super quiet rooms and comfortable bed. Only 2 minute walk to Thamel. And an amazing restaurant next door (Panas Cafe - great local food at amazing prices). Nice outdoor seating/common area. Free luggage storage was super helpful too. We will 100% stay here again the next time we are visiting Nepal. Thank you! Everything was great.

Exceptional

Stayed for 2 nights and will be staying there again after trekking. Room was very comfortable, breakfast excellent, staff very helpful. I also liked the location, only 5 min from Thamel with a great garden. Looking forward to my next stay. Nothing

LOVED the free breakfast in the mornings. The staff were super friendly and the having breakfast in the courtyard every morning was a great way to start the day and get to know new people. Would highly recommend Elbrus Home!
