Rooms were old and surrounding is so noisy from construction. It’s located in very cramped space with entrance through a small lane inside the local market.

The staff were amazing! I was stuck there during political unrest and curfews. Each of the staff there made sure all the guests were well cared for...with food, answering questions, letting us extend our stay, etc. The room size was large, and the shower was hot with good water pressure for Nepal. Also, the rooftop restaurant, pool, and sitting area was really nice with a great view. The breakfast had a huge selection. Also, the hotel is in a good location in Thamel. The bed was not as soft as I prefer; however, if you like more firm beds, it will be perfect for you! Also, the doors in the hallways slammed pretty loudly.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxation after a busy day in the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the well-equipped gym and the beautiful rooftop swimming pool. The gym had everything I needed for a solid workout, and the pool offered a refreshing escape with lovely views of the city—an ideal way to unwind. The location is also perfect—right in the heart of Thamel, close to shops, cafes, and local attractions, yet still calm and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of delicious local and international options. The rooftop restaurant was another favorite—great food and a serene setting. Overall, Ramada Hotel Thamel truly exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, I highly recommend it. A big thank you to the entire team for their exceptional service. I’ll definitely return!

I loved EVERYTHING! From the moment I arrived, every staff member at Ramada Encore was incredibly kind and professional. A special shout-out to the gentleman who assisted me with my bags, the reception team, who patiently helped me with many requests, the lovely ladies at the spa, and the attentive restaurant staff. Their warmth and dedication to excellent service truly made a difference. The facilities are outstanding, exactly what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. I had an amazing rest and a truly pleasant stay. Thank you, Ramada Encore, for such a wonderful experience! I look forward to returning.

Location and cleanliness There room doors have no soft close mechanism. It bangs every time you enter or exit the room creating such a loud noise that you will be jolted out of your sleep. It’s impossible to sleep in the night if you are a light sleeper as people are coming and going the whole night. I didn’t sleep for all the nights of my stay there

Location being in the main area of Thamel. Big, nice and clean rooms. A nice size roof top restaurant with a small swimming pool. Good range of breakfast. Restaurant area is nice. Spa is available. An adequate small gym, liked it. Immediately available hot water. A hair dressers shop is located near the entrance, super service.⁹ Only a small hitch, there was no slippers. They provided after I said it. Nothing to fault.
