Comfy beds, very friendly staff, and awesome common room with plenty of space to find a quiet corner or socialize. The deck area is awesome at night! The bathrooms— not enough hand soap, mildew/moldy showers, no ventilation, not a lot of place to hang towels/clothes in showers.

Staff, accommodation and environment. Very social, had the most fun and made a lot of friends from this hostel during my stay in Nepal

Excellent and caring hostel and restaurant staff. Comfortable linens and bed with light, electrical outlet, and place to hang things plus a lockable cabinet. Fans help cool the room. Many toilet and shower cubicles so never a wait. Showers had hot water (might have to wait a bit for it) and good pressure plus a dry area with curtain. Cleaning very good. Rooftop restaurant, indoor common area, travel agency, and secure luggage storage area. ATMs, restaurants, trekking gear, and other shops all within a few steps of the hostel. I used the phone shop next door to purchase a sim card and data. Carrying heavy bag up stairs but once in room glad to be higher up and further away from the street noise.

Restaurant on site. Bar on site. Good location. Friendly staff who are always helpful. Beds do not have privacy curtains to block light. No working air conditioning. Most showers are cold.

I had a really great stay at this hostel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, specially Mr. Sunil. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere made it easy to meet other travelers. The location was also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Great comfort bed. The rooms are large enough to accommodate the amount of bunks with room to spare. The locker easily fits bags (65ltr backpack with room from hiking boots at the top) or use the space under the bed. There are cleaners who are very diligent and everything is cleaned thoughly. The bathroom is probably the best I have had so far. The design that the curtain is on the outside so you can shower without the curtain hitting you at all. And you can also leave your towel outside so that it also doesn't get wet. The water brush is really lovely and there's like 8 or 10 showers. Outside you also get the morning sun which was awesome when it was colder.

Convenient location, staff was super friendly and helpful. The common area is nice but there wasn’t really anyone using it so I wouldn’t say it’s a great place to meet other travellers. The beds were rather hard. Bathroom not super clean. The pictures make it look a bit nicer than it actually is. We had breakfast at the restaurant one day but weren’t too impressed, so I’d recommend going to one of the many nearby restaurants in Thamel instead.
