Sunny is an amazing host, one of the best I have ever had. He is always there to help out and suggests the easiest ways to travel around the city. The hostel itself is very nicely located, away from the chaos of Thamel, but walking distance anyway. I loved the room (and the terrace). The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, and they serve a mean buff burger! :) Overall, a great experience. It was beautiful to meet Sunny and this experience filled my heart. If you're looking to be among the people, this is the place. If you're looking for just comfort, maybe not.

Very nice hotel, just opened and the staff are very attentive. Booking any kind of transport or helping out with questions about Kathmandu. I was new to the country and felt very welcome and safe! The facilities are clean and the prices for the hotel and restaurant super fair. Good for budget travelers who seek a base in the big city.

Best Hostel truly lives up to its name! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff goes above and beyond to help, and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. The location is also great—close to everything but still peaceful at night. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu! The host even offers free luggage storage when I'm hiking for 2 weeks!

Over my 10-day stay, I explored the menu extensively, and it consistently exceeded expectations. The staff embodies hospitality at its finest, with a special mention for Santoshi. She is the heart and soul of the place—her warmth, enthusiasm, and vibrant energy create an atmosphere that feels like home. I originally planned to stay for three days but found myself so drawn to the good vibes and genuine care that I couldn’t resist extending my stay. It’s a place you won’t want to leave. Bathrooms are sharing and can be a little bit more cleaner

Lovely staff, outside of main thamel so it was fairly quiet, but close enough that it was easy to get in and out. Great food

Windows was very old so some mosquitoes and small insects could come inside room from windows
