Amazing location, very kind and friendly owner, very comfortable room Nothing, all was great

Buildings of exceptional architecture, a welcoming host, tasteful décor, and spotless accommodation. Does not accept payment by credit card, despite using it to secure the reservation. This was stated on the booking page, but I had not noticed it. Had I seen it, I might have chosen not to stay.

Great place, so magical. Full of history of ancient Greece! The owner is so friendly, he explained us the story of Akontisma, and he helped us with everything. The rooms are extraordinary big, beautiful and comfortable.

There couldn’t be a better owner of a hotel! Amazingly accommodating, anticipating our needs and had great recommendations. He came to pick us up from the bus stop (we got off at the wrong stop), gave us a room to spend most of the day when we were supposed to check out at 11 and even drove us back to Kavala without us asking. His presence and help made this place especially special, a bonus beyond the beautiful stone structures and cobbled pathways that make up this charming historical hotel complex.

A very quiet and romantic place, close to Keramoti and Kavala. The small stone houses are charming and the host is very friendly. My dog was also welcomed dearly.

The property has seen better days. The AC was leaking in the unit, the shower was in bad shape, and some light bulbs didn't work. The main bed seemed very fragile. I was afraid it might break.

We were not expecting to stay such an amazing place while we were booking the room. Hotel is amazing and you just feel that you have done a time traveling. Hotel itself is a place worth to visit! Room was so nice and it was so comfortable for a family with a child and a dog. At the evening, there was a child theater in the hotel and it was an extraordinary experience for us. Thanks a lot to Mr. Kaplanis for the kind hosting. Nothing!

The hotels is biuld as a tiny village on a hill with gardens and looks very interesting, different than most of the common hotels you may be used to. There is a view from this hill to the whole surrounding area and the bay of the nearby cities. The man at the reception was very kind, communicative and positive. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel accomodates an outdoor teathater and we had the chance to watch a play there. The facilities in the hotel are pretty worn out and not very well maintained. The restaurant was not working, the gardens were not very well maintained and looked like noone has taken care of it for a while. The bathroom was not very well maintained too, but still clean and OK.

We did not realize that the village is unoccupied other than the hotel rooms that you rent.

The place is absolutely amazing. It represents the spirit of a traditional village and the "rooms" are actually separate small houses. It brought an unique atmosphere to our holiday. The room was very cozy and clean. We are thankful for the warm welcoming of the host, Mr. Kaplanis, and for the pleasant conversation about the place and its history.

The old village is kept in good condition, furniture and bathroom is fine. There is no breakfast but we did not need it. In the town there is Niğde Aksaraylı Börekçi Yorgo's pastries. You should definitely try them. There is a tiny fridge in the room. We just slept in the hotel. There is air conditioner in the room and there is a parking place just in your room's front door. Mr. Kaplan is very kind and helpful. The view near the church at the top of the hill is nice in the sunset. The door and windows of the rooms are very old and the locks are tricky. But after some time we used to lock it. The entrance of the village is only for one car's pass and you need a U turn. In the beginning it seems risky but since the neighbourhood is calm, it won't create any problem.
