The highlight of our stay was the wonderful old receptionists. Their warmth, kindness, and helpfulness defined true hospitality.

Loud rooms you can hear everything outside the room door especially in the morning when the cleaning staff come they talk very loudly and they slam doors so hard, very bad food and very little variety, staff are rude . The best thing this place can do is to shut down.

The hotel was clean. Wonderful seaside location and it was calm. The food selection especially for breakfast and lunch lacked variety.

Location There is no fire system in the rooms (not at the norm). The food is very bad, like catering for a low level club med. In fact you think you go to the only 4 -5 stars of the city and you arrive in an hotel which is mainly reserved 100% for an italian tour operator that brings massive people by may be packages...the employees speak you in italian, the cookers are italian, the singers that sing bad and full sound are italian...personnally i like italy and italians but I am paying to be in tunisia not in Italy.

The hotel itself was good but the room service wasn't that good. Multiple counters were dusty, stained sheets and duvet covers and horrible room service that didn't even pick up the trash and only made up the bed. The hotel itself tries to be different with how it serves food but practices bad food hygiene by chefs touching their phones while working, ignoring the overwhelming fly problem that plagues the hotel and lack of necessities to serve it's people, it's clearly very understaffed. Multiple utensils that were given to us were still dirty and there was a lack of entertainment when it was advertised. If you don't pay extra then you cannot do anything in this hotel -- booking a room then having to pay extra for more food and drinks simply because it wasn't "included" in the pass. The food served here was raw. At breakfast I got a donut that was still raw and the food quality itself is very poor. Do not book here, it's absolutely disgusting.

"Did you know Kelibia Beach is rated #7 in the world?" Every taxi driver here in Kelibia will proudly ask that question. And it IS truly stunning. The best water clarity ANYWHERE in the Mediterranean ,exceeding even Mallorca's best calas. Dreamy swimming conditions.Unfortunately, there's not much else in this town, apart from the historic Fort and famous Madera winery-unlike beach towns of Hammamet,Sousse,Monastir and Mahdia ,which have fascinating medinas/old towns to explore, albeit with seawater of a much lesser quality. This hotel itself does a good job. Classic low-rise horseshoe configuration gives every room at least a lateral view of the shimmering sea,and each room has a terrace as big as the room itself. Room is large with dated furniture , and bedspread but has efficient, modern bathroom. The hotel lobby is opulent with domed ceiling ,marble floors and elegant oversized furniture. The staff, especially at front desk ,is cheerful and helpful. There are 3 huge pools including an indoor one. Excellent wifi coverage.Well kept hotel grounds. Good beach beds. Pleasant beach staff. The big disappointment for me was the dining room . And buffet food quality. Offerings at breakfast were very meager, and lunch was little better. Both resembled a a high school canteen -with tons of minors. Dinner food quality was much better.Buffet was set up outside, with a sea view.Very good music(solo singer,or saxophone,or guitar, etc). In fairness to the hotel, the sign near the entrance says "4 stars"-and that is what it is. So long as you're not expecting 5 stars -it's an excellent place .Mainly Tunisian families and Italian families . I think I was the only solitary traveler. Massive low rise construction is taking place at one end of the beach, far from the hotel.I hope it becomes the hotel that Kelibia deserves.

The Beach and the swimming pool The staff are very friendly and very helpful, especially Sawsan, who was very kind, helpful and always smiling. I would also like to thank Hadeel, Inès and Raed Assoul, all helpful and kind. Overall, the hotel is good, hospitality is great, beach is clean and water is crystal clear, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) are good. Old room furniture, mainly the towels

The property was very nice , my kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool and the beach is amazing but its very hard to find an empty spot. I didn't like that they are not organized in the spa i paid for a service that i never got because the lady took so long to do my eyebrow so her boss started fighting with her because another costumer is waiting and they asked me to come back another day , they never refund anything and i never went back . Second thing i didn't like is that you have to get a receipt every day before dinner to go get dinner and they will let you know where to stay i found that very annoying .

    Outdated rooms but super clean.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We stayed half board and the dinner buffet on both nights was outstanding. The indoor and outdoor pools were big, and the beach was clean and well kept. Lots of hotel security presence patrolling the hotel day and night. Another review mentioned that no burkinis were allowed however this is certainly not true, all swimware was allowed. A mixture of guests but mainly Tunisia and Italian. Lots of Italian guests, and the animation team provided evening entertainment for the Italian guests who booked with Veratours who operate out of the hotel. Upon check-in were were told they had upgraded us from the quadruple room we booked to a suite, the suite however certainly did not feel or look like an upgrade. It was very dated, fridge door hanging off and the views were miserable. Please see photos. One side looked out onto an active building site, and the other although beach facing looked directly onto a maintainence area where at 7.30am staff began to hammer together sunbeds. Another thing to mention is if you close the balcony door while outside, which we did one evening to avoid bugs gettng in, it locks and you can't get back in. The area around the hotel isn't great, so if you don't have a car and would like somewhere with things going on nearby then this might not be fore you. Finally, there were a few animal enclosures we kept encountering inside the hotel, a couple with rabbits and another with birds in, see photo. Not sure how I felt about these, the animals looked content but the enclosures were grubby and smelt. I would say these are not necessary for the hotel to have.
