Great place! Great staff! Clean room and close to a lot of great eateries.

Pleasantly surprised at how well run this place was. It was clean, nice, quiet, well maintained. It does not look like it's a college town hotel. There's a great little rooftop deck to hang out after hours. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff was helpful and efficient during a very busy time.

I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. It’s close to campus and in the downtown area, surrounded by food establishment. I feel safe there. The only very minor issue is that I had to wait for the water to heat up to shower. Again, very minor. It did get hot eventually.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN GENERAL IF YOU WANT TO BE IN DOWNTOWN, KENT OHIO. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.. THIS IS THE BEST AREA TO BE NEAR RESTAURANTS AND A MORE RELAXED VIBE..KENT STATE IS A NICE PLACE WITH LOTS,AND I MEAN LOTS OF DIVERSITY.GOOD PEOPLE-GREAT HOTEL! I give it a 9.4.

Our room was very clean and the staff was the best

Newish property but a little cold feeling because of huge lobby and spartan decor. Pool is tiny and hot tub is barely warm. Gym is small but ok if not occupied by others. The real downer of this place is that the city cleans the streets with loud leaf blowers at 3 AM waking us up and ruining a good nights sleep. Expect about 45 minutes of extreme noise. Also, there is no street parking and the parking garage across the street costs $16 per night. Didn’t try the à la carte restaurant because there was nobody eating in the early morning hours.

Noise. Thursday night there was loud music from nearby bars past 1am. Also loud people running up and down the hall until 2am. My first night was quiet and restful, my second I was utterly exhausted w a 5 hour drive ahead of me.

My stay was thoroughly enjoyed!! The cleanliness, the staff, the room, also amenities superb!!! A couple things that needed attention.. the tiny freezer had frost buildup so thick, I couldn't store my ice cream in it. And finalizing, a continental breakfast would add a huge plus to the stay. I believe the advertising states Breakfast, but perhaps there's small print I missed. Overall, VERY NICE STAY!!

Staff was horrible, if your coming with kids make sure they’re not there to have fun because they are allowed to kick you out

Very nice hotel with in-house amenities (bar, restaurant, pool, gym) and located right in the heart of the downtown area and a short walk to restaurants, nightlife, the Portage Trail, etc.

Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower had some mildew and could use a good scrub. The AC unit made a loud grinding noise. The breakfast server was very nice.
